Great acting by all of the cast especially FL and ML. The acting by ML amd FL individually is great and together they have amazing chemistry as if they were a true couple. The story line is good. The mix of drama, comedy and fantasy (body switching) made it really entertaining for me. I really fall in love with everything!the cast, the soundtrack, the acting skills were just amazing. I love how well Kim Sejeong can portray all her characters! she really knows how to make audience fall in love with her, she’s just great and the chemistry with kang tae oh is just crazy! 💗🙈
the story was so well written, even though I don’t like historical drama, I still watched it because of her. I think she’s one of my favorite actress. 🫶🏻⭐️

O melhor de 2025 na minha opinião, história toda amarradinha, emocionante, engraçada te faz suspirar, gargalhar, chorar, e a atuação impecável dos dois, você sabia exatamente a expressão de ambos quando trocavam de corpos, sem contar no sorriso iluminado do Kang Tae Oh que hipnotiza... Let me break this drama down honestly:70% crying, 25% romance, and 5% humor — and yes, the math checks out. 😭
What really surprised me is how conflicted I felt about the villain. Usually, it’s easy to hate them, but here? I kept going back and forth between anger and sympathy. That moral confusion actually made the story more interesting.
Acting-wise, everyone delivered. No weak links here. The OSTs are beautiful and perfectly timed, and while most characters do get a happy ending, the emotional damage along the way is very real.
✨ My absolute favorite moment? When the male lead spends the last seven minutes of his life thinking about just one person. That scene was powerful, heartbreaking, and unforgettable.
The makers went bold by mixing two supernatural elements into an already intense period drama, and while it mostly works, I won’t lie — there were moments where the story felt a bit stretched.
Still, if you love sageuks, supernatural twists, and are in the mood for a good emotional breakdown, Moon Lovers is totally worth your time. Just don’t say I didn’t warn you. 😭🌙

If you're in it for a good revenge story, watch something else
I love a good revenge story. This is not a good revenge story.My major gripe is that the characters are dumb as hell. I'm not here watching a revenge drama with characters who don't know how to scheme. But wait! They DO scheme, you might be saying. Yeah, sure, they scheme when the plot needs them to be smart, which is a huge issue! I can't buy that these characters are worth rooting for when the only things that happen are when the writer decides oh yeah, this plot needs to move further along so suddenly this character has Known All Along when every other step they've been outwitted. It's SO frustrating.
The other gripe I have is that the motives are SO weak, but this is mostly about the over the top villainous caricature of a villain, Kim Han Cheol -- complete with a bad mustache and beard combo! Because they waited so long to reveal his Motive for Being Evil and Going to These Lengths, there was no way I could've been compelled to care... or even found it compelling. Also, if he is SO obsessed with becoming The Most Powerful, I CANNOT believe that he is settling at being the ~Royal Father in Law~, especially when he has already manipulated the coward king into being the real power. Like, why is this character not just WANTING THE THRONE FOR HIMSELF AND ESTABLISHING HIS OWN DYNASTY? His extreme obsession with marrying off his daughter who he clearly hates (and hates him, good for her!!!) into the royal family so he can be an in-law. Real loser behavior. How about you be a little more ambitious??
Some positives: Sejeong and Kang Tae Oh were very lovely, although I also found KTO's portrayal of Dal Yi a little too much when Dal Yi was NOT like that, but w/e. The music was lovely too. I loved that main/first OST so much and always looked forward to hearing it in an episode.
In conclusion: don't watch this for the revenge story. Watch a better revenge story. Watch Nirvana in Fire, Story of Yanxi Palace, The Legend of Zang Hai, The Vendetta of An.

Moon River is an awesome drama! The chemistry between the leads is so lovely. I don’t get why some people only want the same old storylines like fake dating or childhood crushes — ew, I’m so tired of that. And I guess y’all didn’t find this one interesting because the soul-swapping part hasn’t come yet, right? But honestly, I love the story and the acting. First, the plot is usual one but a little twist, soul swapping between the ML and FL.
Second, I love the cinematography and OSTs. MBC always deliver great sageuk dramas, so I have still lots of expectations on the coming episodes.
Third, Kang Taeoh and Kim Sejeong's pairing and chemistry on this drama is one of the biggest edge of this drama. It is a romcom, yet a melodrama romance for their enduring love.
Will definitely watch until the finale.

The director needs to seriously rethink the moral framework of this story. Taking a baby from its mother is not a heroic act—it is cruelty. Killing a mother who is desperately risking her life to save her child is not heroic; it is demonic. It's Garbage.
Kim Sejong, Kang Taeoh and a body swap that hasn't happened yet brought me here and almost lost me in the first episode, I thought it was a bit boring with forced comedy, the weak attempt to hide the fact that the merchant and the princess are the same person is so badly done that it was insulting when the reveal came at the end of the episode. Where we supposed to be surprised?The second episode was better, it held my attention and made me curious to see where the story will go. The comedy doesn't always land but when it does it's hilarious and it's mostly because Kim Sejong is a master comedian.
I can't really decide yet if this is going to be just OK, if t'll rise to be one of the really good ones or if it'll drop to the bottom of the garbage pile. I am intrigued though so I will be watching next week and I expect a body swap!!
17 minutes into episode 4 and my patience has reached it's limit. I have a very high tolerance for stupid as long as it's entertaining, this is absurd and I didn't even get to the body swap part, I can't even imagine how stupid that will be. I really wanted to stay because I like the actors, but this is embarrassingly bad.

É um drama excelente.
É muito difícil eu curtir um drama histórico da era de Joseon, mas esse eu gostei demais. E, sinceramente, eu não entendo por que ele não foi tão assistido quanto os dramas que estão no ar agora, porque ele entregou muito!Geralmente, dramas históricos já vêm com aquele pacote esperado: sofrimento pesado, dor em nível hard, personagens que passam por provações absurdas e a gente já começa sabendo disso. Mas aqui foi diferente. Sim, teve muito sofrimento (e já aviso: não é pouco), porém o drama soube equilibrar tudo muito bem. Teve reviravoltas, teve comédia, teve momentos leves que quebravam o peso da história. Não ficou aquela coisa densa e cansativa o tempo todo.
O romance também teve espaço, mesmo em meio à tristeza. E olha… é muita tristeza mesmo. Muito tempo de ódio, ressentimento e vingança. É pesado se colocar no lugar dos protas.
Infelizmente, aqui vou precisar dar um pequeno spoiler:
eu senti uma raiva profunda do vilão. E mesmo conhecendo a história por trás dele, não consegui sentir empatia. Ele foi ruim até o fim. Em nenhum momento demonstrou arrependimento, em nenhum momento voltou atrás, em nenhum momento deixou escapar um sentimento genuinamente bom. Nem sequer reconheceu que passou dos limites na vingança. Isso não deixou espaço nenhum pra sentir dó.
E, honestamente, ele teve o fim que mereceu. Pode parecer uma cena exageradamente dramática, mas foi necessário para que todos pudessem, finalmente, ter paz e viver um amor verdadeiro. No fundo, o grande problema do vilão era claro: já que ele não pôde viver um amor verdadeiro, ninguém mais podia. Foi egoísta, egocêntrico e mesquinho do começo ao fim!!!!!
Tirando essa raiva que eu senti (como puderam sentir no meu expressar contra o vilão), mostra o quanto a história foi bem construída. Ele te prende o tempo inteiro. São várias camadas, várias descobertas, nada fica repetitivo ou fadigante. As situações mudam, os personagens enfrentam os problemas juntos e, apesar de todo o sofrimento, eles se apoiam.
Um ponto que eu amei foi a amizade entre os príncipes. Normalmente, nesses dramas, eles são colocados como inimigos, mas vê-los como amigos, se ajudando e caminhando juntos, foi tudo pra mim.
Os romances dos dois casais são simplesmente lindos. Cada um teve seu tempo, sua delicadeza, sua forma única de acontecer. Foi surreal de bonito de assistir (eu amo um romancinho).
Sinceramente, perdeu quem não deu uma chance pra esse drama. Ele envolve, cativa, diverte, faz passar raiva, faz chorar de tristeza… mas também encanta, porque mostra a força dos laços, a força do amor!!

El mejor #Saeguk #RomComFantasy del año, una mezcla preciosa y muy bien equilibrada que logra satisfacer desde lo visual hasta lo emocional.Una parejita momosha y con extra química, una historia bien escrita que fluye sin perder coherencia, y una cinematografía hermosísima y acogedora que convierte cada escena en un pequeño refugio.
El mensaje central es tan sencillo como poderoso: amar es hacer lo imposible para vivir, en lugar de morir por amor.
Un saeguk luminoso, emotivo y profundamente romántico, que abraza la ternura y nos divierte con comedia, sin perder fuerza narrativa y deja el corazón calentito mucho después del final.

Pas révolutionnaire, mais terriblement agréable !!!
J’ai lancé "Moon River" sans trop savoir à quoi m’attendre, mais plutôt pour le casting, et au final j’ai passé un moment agréable 🌙. On est sur un sageuk teinté de fantastique, avec ce concept d’échange d’âmes qui vient pimenter les intrigues de palais, les complots et la romance. Le prince héritier Lee Kang et la marchande Park Dal-i se retrouvent à vivre dans le corps de l’autre, et forcément… tout leur monde bascule.Déjà, un des gros point positif selon moi, et le duo Kang Tae Oh / Kim Se Jung, qui fonctionne vraiment bien 🫶🏻. Leur alchimie est naturelle, fluide, jamais forcée. Peu importe le corps dans lequel ils se trouvent, j’ai trouvé leur jeu crédible et cohérent. J’ai bien rigolé sur quelques scènes où le décalage était assumé, mais sans pour autant tomber dans le ridicule. Bon… petit bémol quand même, lors de certains dialogues, les changements de corps successifs m’ont un peu perdue 😅. J’aurais aimé qu’ils évitent d’en rajouter inutilement, parce qu'ici, j'ai trouvé que ça créait plus de confusion que d’effet waouh...
Concernant les leads, Kang Tae Oh, est fidèle à lui-même, même quand il en fait peu, il dégage ce truc rassurant, posé, qui passe crème 😍. C’est pas le mec flamboyant, mais celui qui regarde calmement, comme s’il comprenait tout sans avoir besoin de parler. Et Kim Se Jung… elle fait du Kim Se Jung 😅 , elle est naturelle, lumineuse, jamais dans le surjeu. Elle a un vrai talent pour rendre ses personnages direct attachants, sans jamais forcer, où artifices. Je trouve qu'elle a une présence sincère qui fonctionne à chaque fois sur moi.
J’ai aussi beaucoup aimé les petits easter eggs glissés ici et là 👀. Genre, le couturier royal nommé “Cha Eun Woo”, ou ce personnage qui se présente comme “Park Bo Gun”… c’est furtif, mais ça m’a clairement fait sourire 🤣.
Ensuite, même si le concept d’échange d’âmes est original, ça reste quand même très ancré dans les codes du sageuk, entre complots, trahisons, et personnages secondaires en pagaille... Par contre, une fois la méthode de changement d’âme comprise, j’aurais aimé qu’ils osent un peu plus... qu’ils jouent davantage avec cette idée. J'aurai aimé qu’ils s’en servent comme une vraie arme pour déjouer les complots plutôt que comme un simple élément narratif ponctuel... Il y avait clairement du potentiel à exploiter davantage 😮💨.
C’est pas un drama qui m'a retourné le cerveau ou m'a mis en PLS émotionnelle. Ce n'est pas révolutionnaire, mais ça reste propre, cohérent, et agréable à suivre ✨. Et surtout… merci pour la fin... Tout se boucle correctement, sans frustration, sans amertume. Pour moi la fin a été douce, satisfaisante, comme j'aimerais en voir plus souvent dans les sageuk 😅.
Au final, même si "Moon River" ne deviendra clairement pas un de mes coups de cœur, ni un drama qui me marquera a vie, mais c'était un visionnage feel good, avec une jolie alchimie entre les leads qui fait totalement le job ✌🏻
