I guess I'm just jaded and distrustful of enemies-to-lovers tropes as well as any big-budget show that has a supposedly "strong" FL.

It would've given him and the FL's current relationship a more natural progression, and we would've gotten the layered angst. The way they crammed it in at the very end was disappointing.

He only started dabbling in dramas in 2023. I've been a fan of his (musically) for a long time, but sadly none of his dramas have been my cup of tea :-/

- Bound by Sin - Very strong dislike, bordering on hate.
- The Princess Royal - Love/hate situation. Turns to love pretty quickly. Kinda got the feeling he never truly hated her but not sure.
- The Blue Whisper: Part 1 - Absolutely loathes her.
- Qi Yue Bang Ding Hei Yue Guang - Hates her but pretends not to.
- Hong Luan Yin - All but 1 ML hate her guts but fall for her quickly (TML falls the slowest and was the most RR and bbg imo <3)
- Love Crossed - He dislikes her quite a bit (less RR than others)
- Wake up to Fantasy - He's trying to kill her kinda hate (subs for this one seem to have vanished tho)
- The Princess Decree - Also a love/hate situation. It's complicated and doesn't really reach true hate because they used to be lovers and he still has feelings for her + feels guilt (RR at first and a lot less so later)
- Fu Ma Mei Tian Du Xiang He Li - Hate might be a bit much, but strong resentment and dislike.
- Feng Ta and Forever Love - Dislike. (Feng Ta is RR only for half the drama)
Oh My General and The Romance of Tiger and Rose too but ik you watched them already.

I saw him briefly in Moonlit Reunion and Snowfall (which I swear I'll continue one day). He appears as a guest in MR, but he was cute there. And he's the SML in Snowfall but I didn't get far even though I did like it (bad timing... damn mood watching lol)
Side note, but the amount of pretty boys Moonlit Reunion had should be studied. It was also full of minidrama actors! So many familiar faces, lol

I believed this title would pique your interest. I haven't had the chance to see it yet. It's on my PTW list. I came across information suggesting that the role reversal trope is quite prominent in the series, particularly with the female lead desiring to have a child with the male lead without any emotional ties, which he finds unacceptable. That, to me, indicates that I will surely enjoy the series. Initially, I thought it would be an enemies-to-lovers story because of the political elements in the drama, but I'm unsure how to verify that. Regardless, I still consider it a worthwhile title to keep on my radar this year.
