I couldn't tell it was Jing that went offline. The shot was so quick, zoomed out, and a bit blurry I had to zoom in and made sure it wasn't an extra lolol, jk.....

I've never said that my comments are special nor do I think I have the ability to stop anyone from commenting. in fact I believe I've said it's fine if you feel a certain way and I recognize that there are a lot of toxic jing fans as well, so please stop twisting my words.

I'm already excited for CY's next project haha. I have no idea what he's going to choose but I hope he gets a little break before the next one

oh really? I didn't know there wasn't any drama that broke Iqiyi's heat index. Kinda made sense since I was mostly disappointed with most of Iqiyi drama this year - hopefully they air at least 1 CY drama this year!

ah that scene? I believe XL taught XY archery at his own accord so that she can defend herself but then Jing offered to pay on XY's behalf. I don't think XL ever accepted the offer though, but it's been a while so I don't remember

You know, it's crazy that as a Jing fan, I can't even make comments about him without getting negative reactions from some XL fans. From what I've seen, most comments about Jing never attack XL. If you scroll through the last 100 comments, you most likely won't find many, if not at all. But you know what I do find? Comments saying they hate TSJ, that he's boring, etc. It's fine to feel that way, but it's almost comical when it seems most of the comments from XL fans towards jing are negative when most Jing fans actually like XL, at least from what I've seen . Sure, there are toxic Jing fans and also a lot of really kind XL fans, but the comments here don't show that.

As a Jing fan, I complain about Jing's scenes being taken away or deleted and given to others. Is it true? Yes! Does that mean I'm saying XL's scenes aren't getting cut or ignored as well? Of course not! So why can't we complain and rant about Jing's scenes being deleted without some XL fans making it seem like we're only complaining about Jing and not about XL? You can complain about XL's scenes getting deleted too! I was looking forward to some of his scenes with XY from the novel that we never got to see. Can we just stop invalidating other people comments or attacking those defending Jing?

Why are you guys always assuming when 90% of the time it's XL fans insulting or attacking Jing? Look at most of the comments, you will RARELY find comments from Jing fans insulting XL. We complain about Jing scenes getting taken away, but we never insult XL, we're blaming the producers.
I'm seeing comments from people straight up saying they hate Jing, Jing is a loser, he's boring, etc etc and you don't even need to scroll down that far to see those, Heck, even the comments responding to this post is a straight up attack on Jing - so how about you guys STOP TWISTING things.

I totally agree! My issue isn't with adding more scenes for the other characters, but with how they're doing it at the expense of Jing's scenes. The other characters have their own highlighted and important moments in the novel, so why not use that material? Why inject them into Jing's moments just to give more screen time and importance to others? It feels like a slap in the face to the other characters because it suggests their stories aren't significant enough to have their own scenes. Instead, they're using Jing's scenes and turning what should have been his highlights into stories for the other characters.

I was annoyed when CX was third-wheeling in what was supposed to be their honeymoon. I mean, they already screwed the proposal scene, can't we have our romantic honey moon scenes? We were supposed to see them traveling and having all these heartfelt 1:1 conversations, we were supposed to see Jing creating a beautiful web and them lying under the stars together, helping her get over her past trauma, and meeting XY's mom and getting her approval. Yet, he was just a side character in what should have been an important plotline of the story.

It annoys me when I see comments about Jing and XY's scenes being bland or their love not being deep and boring compared to other characters. I mean, what do you expect when all his scenes are being given to the others??? I don't blame them for feeling that way when the producers are clearly trying to push Jing out of the picture. We can see Jing's and XY's amazing on- and off-screen chemistry, but that can only do so much when it's barely even being shown. Look at the kiss scene: the BTS kiss scene was sweet and passionate, yet they literally showed the back of their heads, zoomed out, and then gave us a non-candid shot of XL.

Jing is literally a tool at this point in the story. CX kills him to fulfill his obsession. XL rescues him to prove his affection. I can only hope they give Jing and XY a proper happy, sweet ending and not a rushed 5 minutes ending just for the sake of wrapping things up - or am I asking for too much? xD

Also, why are they portraying XL as mopey, sad, and constantly drunk? XL's love for XY is selfless and doesn't require reciprocation. He's supposed to be cool and clear-headed, but they're depicting him as constantly sad and even included a scene where he imagines himself and XY in the painting?? That's very out of character. Even as a YaoJing stan, I was upset that they changed XL's character. The qing singing scene? XL weraing a red dress and trying to reach out into the sea? Him constantly drinking to drown his sadness? Can we remove these unnecessary non-candid scenes and actually give XL his own scenes? I remember he and XY had a cute romantic scene on a ship and also had their 1:1 heartfelt convo, can we see that instead?

Anyways, rant over. I'm glad there are people who also see this. It just sucks for drama only viewers because they're probably going to watch it thinking Jing is not an important character to the story when he 100% is!!

something just crossed my mind...Jing can't be with XY publicly because CX likes to third wheel. Jing can't do anything with XY privately because XL feels everything haha. give the couple some privacy xDDD

ah make sense. yeah, the minimum 1 year gap is too long T_T. Kinda make sense why a lot of drama nowadays chooses to rush their ending then just have a second season

if they follow the novel, then yes, TSJ is the end game. However, they've been modifying a lot of the script, so I'm just crossing my fingers they don't butcher anything else.

what drama aired within a month apart are you referring to? As far as I know (at least within the last 2 years), Drama seasons need to have 1 year gap in between

That doesn't make sense....how are they going to explain the fact that Xing yue was powerful enough to pull it off??? I mean, getting people to defeat Jing's Guard would've been impossible unless you are in position of high power and have connections

At this point, can we just make XY the emperor? Jing will support her with his money and connections, XL with his army and strength, CX with his power and ambitions. Her Grandfather and father would probably support her as well.
Jing probably wouldn't mind that she has a harem since he's not the kind to get jealous as long as he's with her, XL doesn't have to die and can also be with her, CX can also be with her and if he wants power, make him the empress. Heck, she can even add FengLong in there cause he's cute so why not??
