I know the novel has a SE, and I'm ready but is it pointless they changed it and we got a surprise HE?
i havent read the novel, but i rather it have a conclusive sad ending and wrapped well than i forced happy ending or even worse, an open ending to please the audience..
the new trailer looks very interesting and angst (more angst then the wrap up video)❤️❤️ can't waitI just…
the director is yin tao and i've seen a few of his dramas and all of the ones I have seen have very conclusive endings (no open ending which i hate). So I'm crossing fingers that no matter if it's a happy or bad ending, it'll be a clear one.
The reservation for “Love of the Divine Tree” has reached 1 million, unlocking several new posters. Check…
I was so moved when I saw Diamonds from all over China holding promotional events to help promote it. It's truly pure love. I can't wait for it to air!
For anyone who hasn't read his recent magazine interviews and is wondering why he's not joining a film crew, I think you'll gain a lot of insights into his perspective. I'll share some quotes I really liked from the interview:
“Some people might think that now, with Lost You Forever blowing up and Tushan Jing becoming iconic, I should ride the wave and move forward quickly. But I’m not willing to, nor do I dare. That would mean not giving my next role the dedication it deserves.” After filming several projects back-to-back, Deng Wei chose to take a break, like a fast horse switching to a mode of rest and renewal. “An actor is like an arrow—you have to sharpen yourself to be sharp enough to hit that destined role.”
“Acting is not about choosing from a list of traits or roles to play, but rather thinking through the emotional resonance between oneself and the character. Only by thoroughly understanding a character's life can the performance feel entirely natural.”
During the airing of the first season of Lost You Forever, he had already moved on to his next project. Occasionally, his colleagues would excitedly inform him, “Your Weibo followers just grew by hundreds of thousands today!” Deng Wei remained calm: “I can’t remember exactly, but I probably just said ‘oh’ and then went back to my room to read the script. When I’m focused on something, it’s hard to divert my attention. It’s not that I don’t care about numbers, but at that moment, I need to be 100% invested in the task at hand.”
“As I’ve said before, I’d rather be a reader first before becoming an actor. If a story moves me, if I can immerse myself in it during the reading stage, then it’s a role I can take on. I don’t focus too much on whether the story will become a market hit—that’s hard to predict. Even if there’s a clear answer, if the story doesn’t resonate with me, forcing myself to perform would only drain me.”
I also really like this line: “There are many types of tears. If I cry in front of the camera and think of something that makes me sad, then those are Deng Wei’s tears, not Tushan Jing’s. Although the audience may not be professional directors, people have an innate intuition for emotions—they can tell the difference between acting and truly being in character.” Even for crying scenes, he strives to make every tear belong to the character itself.
His interviews also include detailed discussions about his roles, his life experiences, his fans, his family, etc., so I highly suggest people read them to gain a better understanding of Deng Wei. If you notice, he's very low-key and down-to-earth in real life—he’s not someone chasing fame or fighting for the spotlight. He just wants to focus on acting and improve his acting skills and bring out the best of the characters he plays for the audience to enjoy. Outside of filming, promotions, and other work-related activities, he generally tries to stay away from the public eye, which is why you rarely see him participate in variety shows. He's truly hardworking, kind, and genuine, so let’s all support Deng Wei all the way! <3
I was hoping for this to air a bit later as to give us a bit of a break between this and you are the one. I I still have Cui Xing Zhou in the back of my head and it doesnt help that the costumes and styling are pretty much identical. I guess this would be a good excuse for me to wait and binge watch this later
This started out pretty good, but I felt it went a bit flat starting in the middle of th show. They spent wayyy too long on Lingfeng street arc and because of that I expected Yan Feng Zha and his protecting spirit to bring more to the story - except they were pretty much invisible later in the story. We didn't even get to see him and his spirit fighting together, even though they spent so many episodes on them. The story definitely hinted feelings between the ML and FL and I really wanted them to progress since their relationship was really sweet and they have such natural chemisty but the end felt rushed and I don't think they had enough time to progress the love line any further. Overall, this was an enjoyable watch but defnitely had the potential to be better if they had a higher budget and maybe higher episode count since there were still a lot of questions and loose ends.
then go to watch plastic bag...cause you like plastic
We should all ignore this hateful individual. They pretend to be a fan of Zhao Li Ying but go onto other actors' and actresses' pages just to stir up negativity. I can't understand how someone can harbor so much hate and waste their time like that—rather than focusing on self-improvement and spreading positivity, they choose to be a troll spreading hate. It's sad, really.
omg haha, im not sure if it's because i've been in a drama draught but this is actually really good? It's a good mix of action, comedy, some sad character backstory, adventure, and world building. I also like the bickering between the ML and FL lead - two best friends that obviously have feelings but are too ignorant and immature together haha. Anyways, I'm having a lot of fun - a not so serious drama that is fun to watch
yessssss, there's finally some hope for thisssss. I need this to air T__T all the dramas airing atm are so boring, please let this see the light of day!
Deng Wei continues to amaze us! What I truly admire about him is that he never seeks to outshine others—he simply focuses on his craft and maintains a low profile unless absolutely necessary. But when he steps into the spotlight, it's always with something spectacular that leaves fans both proud and excited!
A huge congratulations to Deng Wei for being featured in the September issue of ES Figaro Men's! For those unfamiliar with ES Figaro, it's one of the most prestigious and luxurious fashion magazines in the world. So it's definitely a testament to his growing influence and popularity :) https://weibo.com/5747209783/OtB3T3Vx5?refer_flag=1001030103_
I hope deng wei career will continue to excel and grow to new heights!
Li Xiang Yi wear those types of costume, and it's very cool in a fight scenes since it's very light and gives…
i guess you're right, and maybe it is the more "feminine" touch to the costumes that's throwing me off. I've never read the novel so also no comment on that. The flowy look would make the fight scene look more dynamic so I'll just wait for when it airs *_*
