Why can’t Li Zan just be honest with Song Ran? He’s keeping so much from her—both about the past and the dangers he’s facing on this special mission. At least Song Ran is trying to reach out! She may be shy and reserved, but she had the courage to admit her feelings. Meanwhile, Li Zan is still stuck in his self-sacrificing, martyr mindset. When will he finally let go of that? 😭 He is clearly still so in love with her.

I was starting to get tired of Li Zan keeping his distance, so a part of me wished Song Ran would act a little more nonchalant around him instead of being so awkward.
Episodes 29 and 30 were solid, highlighting the human side of war.
After watching 12 episodes, I find Ping An has chemistry with so many people - Yuan Shaocheng, Danxin, Wu Ang Kang, Wu Xia Er....that girl is just such a good match with them all... But this is not a romance show lol
Instead it is a show full of intrigue, tons of scheming and plot twists! Very entertaining and interesting plus the humor is good. However, the story is not kind to the characters and there are lots of triggers. It is not a show for people looking to relax and seeking instant gratification.
I like the pacing of eps 27 and 28 - the way Song Ran and Li Zan were so aware of each other, but there was so much awkwardness that need to be overcomed slowly.
It's progress with Song Ran stepping out of her self-absorbed world to actually ask Li Zan about himself.. I am glad that her mother gave her some straight talk.
Just finished ep 26 - Good realisic advice from Song Ran's mother but SR is too wrapped up in herself, and projecting her own thoughts on to LiZan. In a way, I am glad that they have this time apart, especially for SR. Like her mother said, she needed time to properly adjust herself and be comfortable and trusting herself to be on her own.
That said, I feel for Li Zan - until now, he was still not able to share and unload all his emotional baggage .
Oh wow, I just started and binged up to ep 5. The reveal of Ping An's background and past - tragic 😭 The guilt she must bear.
I was so excited for this show because of the cast and so far I really like this it, the cat and mouse game between the two brilliant leads. It's hard to imagine that there would not be any romance, given the strong chemistry between them. I am also getting some vibes between Ping An and Dan Xin but that's just my wishful thinking. It is a CDrama after all.
I think Yang Xian has it the worst....the poor guy suffered the most out of the all 5 sons-in-laws. I wish Le Shan's and his story resolved in ep 35 so that ep 36 could be all about the family. I was getting tired of the dominant wife bully role.
Anyway, this was an excellent, brilliantly written drama - very enjoyable and entertaining. Hopefully the rating would be fairer as more people complete it.
Eps 31 and 32 were fun to watch but I got tired of LeShan's domineering ways. It's too much and even she knows it, trying to hide it from her own family. I am so glad that they finally get along better, because Yang Xian is whipped. Poor guy, the challenges were tough!
I like that RanRan is improving in her skills over time and getting more matured. I like her cute positive side but there's only so much I can take when it comes to naive and childish FLs. It's great to watch that character growth.
I hope SY falls out of love with this fake MQG without realizing that she is MRW. Double slap in the face for that vile so called sister.

Yup, SYS and his pal are playing the long game, protecting the real one while scamming the fake one. I think SY will find out eventually and continue being the delusional clingy SML.
