Title Derailment
This show was confusing from start to finish. They tried to have many things happening all at once but it wasn't as interesting. First to last episode was generally confusing or felt somewhat disjointed. It is like they act cool scenes out and just sort of fit them together like jigsaw. Also, no kisses but even at that I have seen many great shows with excellent romance even if there was no skinship per se. Worse off for me is that I didn't really find the 'toxic' male lead being referred to. I watched it because I heard ML was toxic but he wasn't all that toxic in reference to the storyline albeit being up and down a bit. Not due for any rewatch for sure. The only good thing about this were the visuals. It did feel futuristic especially the first episode.

My vote is based on if I have seen the same actress in contrasting roles and enjoyed it. Im Ji Yeon for instance shocked me as the villain in The Glory when I had only ever seen her is bright and lovely character roles. Park Eun Bin, Kim Da Mi for instance have played completely different roles. Kim Da Mi in The Witch part 1 the Subservient is like a different person from the one in the romantic melo our beloved summer. Han So Hee for instance in My Name versus being the home wrecker in world of the married....like!...Kim Tae Ri in all her shades...these and all these actresses really are legends. They were born to act. I appreciate and applaud them.

I love the SML in whatever he plays and he played bad lover guy very well. Despite how excellent he truly is, interestingly I can say that he didn't quite manage the nuance of being both loving and bad and simply fits more into being mostly corrupt and terrible mannered in a fine suit type character e.g psychopath dairy or his role in the Glory lol. I can see him improving in this nuanced regard of blending good and bad...however, I can't see him take up many ML lover boy role anytime soon. Maybe love wise, Obsessive, strange , psychotic, crazy just works....But ngl whatever he plays i watch and enjoy 😂😂

I tried a second time to pick this up and managed to scrape through by skipping episodes. This one is truly a bore. The politics is excessive, the leads chemistry is really nothing to write home about, the whispering style acting is off puting. The story is convoluted. The pacing is sluggish, the OST is not much to write home about. Most episodes feel slow and like nails scratching on a board. Bro rewatch value is next to 0 for this one. Sorry guys....One good thing though, I found the leads oddly beautiful to look at.

Naaaa...they over PGfied this one. It doesn't do any form of justice to the excellence of the latest Thai hua jai sila. The intensity, the craziness, the odd possessiveness, aggression, vengefulness...the entire thing. The complete ridiculousness of the villain and her son...this doesn't hold a candle. Sorry.

Dropped: The chemistry between the young ML and the FL was great even without them touching at all. the dialogue was poignant and meaningful thus striking a cord. However, I had to drop this at episode 4 because of the extent of moral decay of the FL being too extreme for me. She is plain disgusting both in thought and deed thus leaving no room for one to bypass her nastiness. No matter how pretty the cast is, I just couldn't move on. It is different if things somehow lined up and she was innocent in technicality but she is not. She is an intentional home wrecker on various levels. With a disgusting father to the ML. Too much nonsense. Well fitting name unfortunately. I feel they could have played with the same variables in different way but chose not to.

Yes I also thought the same but it does die down and settle down. Still funny but in a more natural way. The support…
I couldn't stick around long enough. I may pick it back up in the future and give it another clear headed try. It happens like that sometimes.

This is one odd one. I dropped it at episode 7 or so. It is the first time ever watching a show and I am so distracted by how pretty the FL is and how much she looks like a younger and shinier Bai Lu lol. I wind up not quite following the character she is playing lol. I am probably just a weirdo. Anyways, the other major issue why i dropped is that the story feels all over the place a bit. This kind of storyline should be a short not a fully length 40 episode drama. It is too active, comedic, self aware and in a restrictive predetermined set up for so long that you get somehow tired. I may pick it up in the future cos the visuals, effects, and production is pretty incredible. Amazing looking sets as well.

Btw it isnt FL that chases ML first. That tag is relating to one super wholesome and adorable other character. Geez I love this show.

This drama was definitely created to check on the health of its viewers, as in how is their blood pressure doing.…

7.5 is insane for this, this is easily 8.2+
Naa fam. i love me some Choi Si Won any day but this one is certainly a 7. Watching the leads sometimes felt like watching paint dry.

In Woo is such a clown. His behavior was toxic from the beginning. Yu Reum should've never entertained him. He…
Exactly. Some of these ex characters in dramas can truly be beyond ridiculous. Like make it make sense. Its always the audacity for me. In Call it love his ex cheated on him for a whole year, then went abroad to marry someone else, then had the audacity to return to plead to get back together. Like how?

Your comment made me watch it and I totally agree! Omg! I realised that if not for the Holy Spirit I would be…
the revenge didn't manage to revenge at all actually. Putting revenge in the tag on MDL isn't representative. I finished it when I decided to think of the character differently. He was like a kind of warm light that brought the bad friends around. At the very least, this drama has thought these two Christian brethren from random walks of life a challenge and a lesson on letting go of anger, bitterness, and vengeance. It is so counter human but actually the right thing for our hearts. Funny enough, even in this story, if he chose to remain angry forever, those two though sometimes feeling guilty, would continue living their lives. That is the unfair part about holding onto bitterness. He probably got the forgiving heart from his mom which also teaches a story on good parenting. Lots to unpack. We should add each other as MDL friends and see how we can link some profound dramas to profound Biblical teachings. Wouldn't that be fun for two Bible and drama geeks 😂

I'm 10 episodes in, happy for once there is no unspoken feelings between Jin Jin and Dong ah, just pure friendship…
I also love that they truly have a platonic relationship. Their straight up fights and brawls are hilarious. Dong Ah doesn't care. He pulls her hair and everything just as much lol.

oh to be loved the way bok so loves... how could he be so forgiving .. he'd be the perfect Christian lol , here…
Your comment made me watch it and I totally agree! Omg! I realised that if not for the Holy Spirit I would be so so hard hearted! I mean even now I was getting so irritated and angry just watching him when he is more on the right path of really letting things go lol. I think i have watched too much toxic and bitter revenge dramas. I inadvertently learnt Biblical level forgiveness from a Kdrama lol. It sure is counter human style.

He picks this scripts like he is a "hidden cannibal" in Kill Lover he spent lots of episodes telling the FL that…
I haven't watched kill lover but I can practically picture it lol. he does a great job acting out truly abnormal MLs.
