I get what you are saying and I agree. However I believe that this is mostly the company's fault that makes them have fan meetings and do fanservice.

People can definitely get pretty toxic, but if the company encourages that behavior it is mostly their fault. If they see that a pairing sells, they try to make as much money as possible not caring about all the toxicity that their artists will probably have to deal with.

LoN is not an adaptation of a same sex novel, and as a result we can understand the plot just fine, even with the missing bromance scenes (that were probably there just for the sake of some bl/bromance vibes and may not have even been in the book).

If they do the same thing here, we will probably not even understand the plot and the connection between the two leads...

It's a good watch so far.

Imo it is quite unique story wise comparing to other gmmtv series. It has a much more serious tone and the cinematography is pretty good.

Of course, it is not perfect. It has its flaws like some scenes that may feel a bit over the top (and the "always will be awful" thai pp), but generally it has a melancholic/serious type of vibe and it gives a cinematic feeling.

Personally I don't have a problem with the main actors. They are good enough (not award worthy, but still pretty good) and having seen their other projects (which I am not a big fan of) this one definitely is the better one. Plus I am glad to see Fourth here too. He is a very promising young actor.

However take into consideration that it is more of a slow paced, atmospheric watch (comparing with other gmmtv series at least) so u need to be in the right mood to watch it. And it is definitely not for everyone.

Long story short, you should definitely give it a chance and see if it is for you. Two eps are enough to see if you will like it.
