Their chemistry is π₯π₯π₯
Different people had different views on the two main leads. I personally found Zhang Ping's character a bit annoying, but others found Lan Jue's character a bit annoying. For me though it lasted like 2 eps, so if you are wondering if you should watch it, you should definitely give it a shot.
Well, at least so far (until ep. 3 that I have watched) it doesn't look like they have butchered it.
It is okay so far and I hope it gets better.
The only thing I am worried about is the duration of the eps. Ep 3 and 4 are like 35 minutes. I hope they haven't butchered it with the editing.
This is ending up being extremely unique in terms of your typical tropes (that they luckily avoided) that we see in almost every bl.
And I also loved the fact that Tinn chose to go to Hot Wave not just because he likes Gun, but because being there for the people he cares about is the main reason why he wants to be a doctor and he put a priority to that instead of creating connections with that doctor.
The amount of common sense between them should be an example for some other scriptwriters that constantly misunderstandings (because they don't know what else to write). Those high school students seem to have more sense than some full grown adults.
However taking into consideration that it was supposed to come out last year, I believe we will get to watch it relatively soon.
It is slow paced and mostly character driven (which is pretty rare for a revenge drama), so if you generally are not into slow paced series, you may find it boring.
