Just 4 eps in and Chi Yun is becoming my favourite character.

Generally this is quite entertaining so far and I enjoy the plot. Production quality is a bit inconsistent imo. Some things look pretty great, other pretty bad or cheap.

Even when it comes to costumes, being, I feel that the villains are more "visually impressive". When it comes to Liu Yan and that female companion of his, they both look so great in their costumes. Especially when it comes to her, her entrance was amazing and I love her make up and costume. She's so much more impressive that the main "good" female characters that look like the typical "all white" xianxia characters. Won't even start talking about thet terrible sword of Zhong Chunji. It looks like a toy sword.

The dubbing is a bit out of sync... But for now it's alright as a story, so I'll keep watching.
Yeap noticed it too. At some points it feels like they are saying different things than what we hear (which wouldn't be impossible to happen).

Rui is gonna be fine. I feel that Rosy Clouds will air soon since it got a distribution license a couple of days ago and VoS is scheduled to air on Q1 of 2026. This is the series I am worried about. There are no news for it 😭
