Well they have lots to air, but TIA is the one that has the most rumours of airing late July/beginning of August for a while now.
I don't see them airing HS which is my most anticipated (along with Burning Night) π, so at least I hope they air that one or any costume drama at this point...
I'm losing my patience π
I had a problem following, maybe they were too fast at some points and I misunderstood.
But, what's with iqiyi subs? I know there are always mistakes, but there were too many this time. At some points, I had a hard time understanding.
So close, yet so far...
I hope we get some materials when it hits 1m
For me, the (b)romance was so evident that I wondered how it passed censorship. Much more on the nose and less subtle comparing to the untamed that I also love.

It is still weird that they would rush to get one though so soon. The drama wrapped filming a few months ago.
Feud got a license on April 18th and was released less than one and a half month later. But if I am not mistaken it wrapped on August 2024.
This one wrapped on January. If they truly release it now, that would be weird.
Well, we can only wait and see if the rumours are true.
I agree it makes no sense for them to broadcast such a highly anticipated drama with a high budget with zero promotion. On the other hand though, why would they rush to get a broadcast license if they are not planning to air it soon? There is no reason for that. Even if we assume that the editing isn't finished, there is no logic in getting a license just a few months after the filming ended. It usually takes much longer for these dramas.
I'm not 100% sure about editing, but usually when dramas get a license they can air anytime. I don't see how it could pass the board if the editing isn't finished or at least partially finished. Plus, if they plan to air it soon, the editing must have finished cause there is no way they will manage to fix anything in a few days.
That aside we can't know what may be happening behind the scenes and why they may want to air this now. Maybe there is a scandal we don't know about etc.
There are many factors that viewers simply can't know.
Of course it may not even air at all, we will see. But it is not impossible either. Pretty sure it wouldn't be the first time that something rare or irrational happens.
It's just that the company involved in this is not based in China. That's why it can air.
And probably this one will be more light comparing to the erha book π
Well, I hope we get to watch Desire with no problems and maybe after it we will get to watch Immortality too and other series that have been shelved for no reason.
Similarly with the spirealm that was leaked.
They can air them internationally, but they will lose tons of money, cause the target audience is chinese people and they have invested a lot of money on the period dramas comparing to modern ones like JITD or the spirealm (especially the spirealm that was ridiculously low budget and a parody of the book).
I feel like they are airing Desire now to gain as much money as possible, taking into consideration the huge sucess of Revenged Love.
Chinese fans will probably promote it one way or another like what is happening now with revenged love that is not really available in China.
