I'm also anticipating both, but honestly many times I end up disliking series I anticipate, so I don't have a problem if both air., cause probably I won't end up watching and enjoying both.

Yeap, they will go with modern series for July probably. I wouldn't be surprised if they air dropped or barely had a promotion for The Immortal Ascension though. They did promote it earlier this year but it never aired.

You are right. The production company is 榴莲出品Constanly, but I can't find any info about them besides the fact that they produced this series along with Nong Jian (the author of Desire). It is probably based in Taiwan though and has a weibo account (https://m.weibo.cn/u/7807470206) but can't find anything else about them.

The series will be available on Youku international, GagaOOLala and YouTube. Youku is the one that is doing most of the promotion and the reason the company probably will air it now is due to the popularity of Revenged Love.

I think it is filmed in China with Chinese actors but the studio is from Taiwan. That is why they will be able to air it -only internationally though-. Similar thing happened with Revenged Love, but Chinese people still watch it illegaly.

I believe nothing till I see it with my own eyes.

They probably decided to air it, cause of the success of Revenged Love. It will not air in China though, so they will probably air another modern drama at that time. Our Generation could air then.

Yes and they are promoting it heavily. But it is still a modern drama and it seems they keep airing modern ones. Plus it will not air in China, so they will probably release another modern one at that time.

There is a rumour for The Immortal Ascension in mid or end of July, but it is not confirmed and taking into consideration they basically haven't aired a period drama for a while, it may not be happening.
