I think revenged love managed to air with no problems (hopefully the same will happen with desire) cause the studio is not based in mainland china. I don't think they can do the same with this one. I mean Viki has it under Taiwan.
And honestly even if they can, I don't think they will.

They are waiting for years in case they will be able to broadcast it and earn money. If they broadcast it just internationally they will have a huge loss financially wise, since they invested tons of money in this one and other dramas based on danmei. Unless it's leaked I suppose or illegally broadcasted like The Spirealm or Justice in the Dark which I don't see happening...

I truly hope it's true even though the "new ones are not allowed to be filmed" hurt a bit.

Revenged Love was not filmed by a chinese studio if I am not mistaken. Or at least the studio was not based in Mainland China. Same with Meet you at the blossom that had a thai studio.

Most rumours said it would air during summer from the get go, so it is indeed a possibility it will air during July or at least August. Meanwhile, I remember HS being rumoured to air much earlier (February, maybe even earlier).

True about OG. At first they said end of July, now they are saying mid-July. Well, at least I hope they air TIA. What I don't get is Youku constantly releasing modern dramas when other platforms don't. Usually during this time most platforms release their highly anticipated series.
