I saw the preview of the next episode. Have those who raped the girl been allowed to leave?!
I also believe in second chances in some cases, but this is a gang r@pe and we are talking about two people that may not pay for what they did cause the law says so. Plus, like u said they don't feel any guilt at all and they just like to blame GJW for everything. Not to even mention they let an innocent man rot in prison for a decade and pretended to be his friends.

Geon Oh was the only one I felt a bit bad about cause he did feel guilty. But still, we still don't know what he did.

It's a crime/thriller drama. There is no cheating, because there is no romance. Depending on how you define bullying…
I didn't say "in a romance way" but in a "romance drama". I mean that it is not really a main aspect of the drama and it is just a detail about some of the characters. It is not something the writer gives too much attention to (at least for the time being because it may play a more important role in the next eps) like it happens many times in romance dramas where cheating can be a very important part of the plot. It's more like a detail, not a main theme like in many romance based series or series based around cheating (the world of the married for example). I hope that makes more sense.

I hope they do...

It can happen, cause it looks like they also got rid of her body or at least they know something that would get them in jail for more years. Even if they don't get punished legally, they may be punished by some type of poetic justice. No matter what, if people find out about it, I doubt they will be able to have their careers and normal lives back. As with GJW, they are brutal when someone has committed a crime, even if they have paid for it.

Yes. If there is a statute of limitations for a crime (let's say 6 years) and those years have passed and the culprit comes forward 7 years later, he can't be punished. It's like it's not considered a crime anymore. I am not sure if it is for every case though and if it doesn't exist for specific crimes.

WTH kind of friends are these. I mean seriously. How many times are they going to blame this all on GJU. And HGT,…
For real.

I was laughing too at that moment cause what the actual hell? I can't actually believe it. They have 0 shame, 0 guilt and they should not be called humans.

I feel like NG is more involved in the Da Eun case, since she was the gf of JW. Could still be involved in BY's case though since she too liker GJW.
I don't know what NG did, but if she actual went to inform BY's parents about the rape, at least she did a good thing even if it was for her own advantage. I really want to see their reactions.

I feel Ha Seol will disappear too sooner or later.

Same. When Geon Oh killed himself, I didn't think his dad would go berserk. I am wondering if he will actually investigate the case or he just wants to know what happened then without letting anyone else find out.

He has more ๐Ÿ˜‚
So many years in prison, dramagod gave him more lives because he was jailed unfairly.

I honestly think that now it is getting truly interesting. There are a lot of things that haven't been revealed yet.

My blood pressure during this episode ๐Ÿ“ˆ

The way I want to hit everyone with a metallic baseball bat on the head ๐Ÿ˜„

This was easily the best episode so far. Sang Cheol was a pleasure to watch.

Kudos to the actors that play the bad guys too cause they are doing an incredible job.

Yes. Besides what the other user said it probably also has to do with the statute of limitations

I don't see him having any obligation if she is somehow involved and goes to jail. She should be the one feeling…
If NG is actually involved in the murder of Da Eun, the fact that she visited him makes her even more vicious. At least the others felt guilt or at least they could not face him after what they did. I would never forgive her in his place and I would be disgusted by how hypocritical she acted. Plus she is doing whatever she wants with his mom, without caring about his opinion.

If she killed his gf (or knows who did), and not only that, but also covered the crime and said nothing while he spent 10 years in prison that would ruin his future, losing the best years of his life and after that he got repetitively attacked and almost killed she is the worst of them all. The only reason that GJW may have visited her in prison is because as a character he is quite naive and seems to try to find the best in people. He has made clear though that he doesn't see her romantically no matter how obsessed she is with him.

The series is not a romance, so I don't think there will be any endgame at all. I personally dislike Ha Seol as a character even though I do like the actress quite a lot. Who knows? She may be the next one disappearing.

Just noticed that Fangs of Fortune only has 26 episodes, hope the editing is good and that we don't get many scenes…
I hope so too. I don't think it will be bad though, especially since My Journey to You from the same director had less episodes.

I am sorry, I'm not sure I understand. From your post, the question I thought you asked was if GJU would visit NG out of obligation. And my answer is no, cause there is no reason for him to have any obligation when it comes to her. Did you mean something else?

Symmetry; If Choi Na Gyeom ends up going to jail at the end, will Go Jeong U visit her until she gets out? Out…
I don't see him having any obligation if she is somehow involved and goes to jail. She should be the one feeling obligation since she watched an innocent man spending 10 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit.

That aside, I don't see any love relationship between them. NG is obsessed with him, but he doesn't see her in a romantic light at all. It's more the fact that he appreciates what she did for him.

Please, if you post spoilers from the novel indicate somehow that they are from the book and not from the series. You can first write a comment that you are going to talk about the book and then post a spoiler tagged post beneath it and say whatever you want.

This is the comment section of the drama, when people are opening spoiler tagged comments they are expecting to read spoilers from the series (theories etc) not to find out the ending of the book...

The doctor had an affair with Da Eun, which became the reason for her death. The one who sacrificed her could…
Yes, that is the theory. That she had an affair with him. I think he was the man that Da Eun's grandma heard on the phone and he could have killed her by accident. Da Eun may have threatened him that she would expose their relationship or he may have killed her so his wife's career would not go to hell. He seems to be terrified of his wife, so it is highly possible she had something to do with the murder one way or another.

Thereโ€™s 7 eps left.. they canโ€™t possible drag it on for another 7 right? Unless they conclude the first case…
I don't think the whole truth about Bo Yeong will come to light, but I do feel that the rest of the series may focus more on the second murder.

Have a feeling that the police son is going to be persuaded to lie during his confession- leading to dragging…
He seemed terrified of his dad after he locked him up in that room, so I feel the same. He will not confess or even worse, he will take all the blame. Maybe they will use his brother to threaten him.
If he actually tells the whole truth, it wouldn't be logical for ML to keep researching the case, cause it would reopen and another police station would take over and then the series would end lol.

i cannot understand SMS and YBM parents. they knew the truth but they acted like GJW was the culprit๐Ÿ™„
I mean it is not really about understanding them. They are completely immoral. Acting like GJW is the culprit is nothing...
It's not just wanting to cover up for their kids. It's also wanting to keep suspicions away. They are so shameless, they could look Bo Yeong's dad in the eyes and actually drank with him everyday like they didn't know about his daughters death and rape...

Title Black Out Spoiler
This episode felt more like an ep. before the big finale, but it it just ep. 7 which means we are halfway through.

If you have watched ep. 8 on Hulu I DON'T WANT any spoilers!

1. Geon Oh must be the only one knowing what was in the bag right? Cause it would make no sense otherwise. I mean it's impossible that no one noticed that the phone, a book and a freaking underwear went missing.

2. Every episode I have the urge to punch "his friends" more and more with a baseball bat...

3. It was basically confirmed that uncle cop was not there and he just covered the murder and doesn't know all the details. Plus it was confirmed that Da Eun probably had an inappropriate relationship with the doc or at least she was hitting on him.

4. There were some things I didn't like in the episode.
- Why did the police officer not suspect ML or in some way search his house when he said he didn't see who broke into his house and hit him? Uncle cop obviously knew they were still investigating the case and they were sus, but he must have known that ML was lying about what happened that night right? Even though it wasn't shown, they must have told uncle cop that ML saw one of them (unless they were that stupid)...
Didn't he think that he is hiding something serious when he said he saw no one? Didn't it cross his mind that something from the bag is missing?

- Why the hell did the main police officer not think that that bastard would find a way to crash his car when he disappeared from behind him? Why was his first thought that he gave up?

- Why did the main cop went to get the results when he saw he was being followed? He could easily do it another time since no one knew about it and head elsewhere since he knew he was being followed. (Don't get me started on the fact that somehow bastard cop went to the "police station" tracked his car and somehow managed to be there in time or at least almost in time).

- The way everyone was touching that bag with their bare hands...
Well that can be justified but still...

- I know JW is angry and I understand his reaction, but at the same time I am irritated with what he did. He literally barged in a hospital with a hammer and the security also apparently didn't exist to stop him on time before following bastard nurse all the way down to the parking lot.

5. Did the cop like Bo Yeong? That's what it looked like. What the hell did bastard nurse even mean when he said "it's because of you"?

6. Na Gyeon is making me the most confused in the series. Does she know anything about Bo Yeong? I would say no, cause she organized that whole reunion to find out more about her. But then she went ahead and told the ML's friends to help when it comes to ML getting away from there and going to Seoul and forgetting everything.
Da Eun is a whole other thing. It looks like Na Gyeom knew about the relationship between Da Eun and the doc (as expected). So she is still a huge suspect when it comes to that case.

I think the minutes passing are probably when he is in the hospital -the scene we watch in the beginning of episode…
๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

I honestly don't remember that at all ๐Ÿคฏ
but I am wondering if we actually missed any details throughout the series that could have been perceived differently.

That was honestly weird.
Perversion ๐Ÿ˜‚
I get the whole dying bro being on the real timeline where everything went to shit ๐Ÿ’ฉ but the whole "bro coming back alive and fine" may just have been the directors choice to fully confuse the audience ๐Ÿ˜‚

I feel like I have never truly watched a bl that has an intricate well written plot (outside the safe concepts of school etc) that is actually not fully cringy or at least a bit on the "unbelievable"/fantasy side.
This one feels quite unique plot wise and it is pretty interesting, but yeah after the first few eps I was like "this will make no sense" but unexpectedly it seems to be pretty solid so far. Hopefully this will age well and the series doesn't crash and burn in the final episodes.

While the actors playing the two leads are very believable as high school students, they could've spent more budget…
Completely agree. It is actually quite prominent from ep. 1
I don't think it is a budget problem though. Probably something having to do with the make up or maybe the editing process.
