Exactly. It is way too predictable but also very plausible. Plus the actor is well known face so I wouldn't be surprised if it was him. Hoping we are wrong and there is some plot twist though.

I am having the same question every single year 😭

First episode was good enough. The plot is definitely interesting so I would like to see where this goes.

Two things I didn't like (besides some overacting here and there).

1. I love Byun Yo Han but he can't pass for a 19 year old. I don’t get why they just couldn't find a younger actor to play the character when he was in high school.

2. The first half felt extremely rushed. It was like the scriptwriter/director was like "this is just some not interesting background/past story, let's show it on screen as fast as possible so we can go to the main plot". Even though the point was there, I think it would be a better choice to show more of his time in prison and his struggles and more of the relationship he had with the girls and generally his classmates and his family. More info about the interogation or the general police investigation.
Of course things will get revealed in the future and we will probably have tons of flashbacks, but building a connection between the characters is important and there was barely any. Just a fight and and some scenes scattered here and there and then boom he is the murderer, he got arrested, he went on trial, got into prison, got abused and then released. All that in like 20 minutes! Felt more like a recap of the previous episode than an actual episode.

Don't do this to me, I mustn't start another series.

It is plausible he was wearing a bulletproof vest. Pretty sure that when mayor shot him was the only time there was blood since she hit him on the shoulder. The fatal shots probably went on the vest. On the other hand his whole character is extra ah, so I wouldn't be surprised if he truly survived without a vest.

I don't know if that is for promoting, but I don't find it bad nor unexpected. It is a common technique to promote something even months before it gets released and I don't think we will wait too long for this one. It could as well be that this was to be broadcasted earlier and suddenly that changed, so maybe they couldn't change the whole promoting thing.
It was rumored to air in July/August at first but probably didn't cause of the Olympics. I won't be surprised if it airs September/October. Even MJTY came out much earlier than expected.

Sun Jun U is the most obvious suspect so I hope it's not him.

Too much money for them to risk that unfortunately. I feel like as long as there is even 0,001% chance it can air in China they will wait. No matter how popular Cdramas are internationally, they are much more popular in China. Financially they probably believe it is better for them to wait and air it If a chance ever comes than sell it and gain basically nothing compared to what they invested...

We can just hope this along with the other series will see the light of day and that no scandals will happen in the meantime.

No one knows with the Chinese government. If they don't announce its cancelation it's not canceled, but that doesn't necessarily mean it will air. Currently things are not looking good for series like these. But you never know, things change every day. There are dramas coming out many years after they finish shooting. I just wish we get to watch this one some time in the future.

Kisskh is an illegal platform and it has nothing to do with when the dramas air. They just steal content and upload it when the official platforms release a series. They have 0 connection with any industry, so don't really pay any attention to that.

I suppose a more thorough research on google will probably make more results appear, however I do believe that if you are really interested you should ask someone that knows the language, to see if they can guide you to korean sources that will probably be more reliable and well rounded. (And yeah, like already mentioned, reddit is actually a great place to ask).

That aside, there is not really "copying" of clothing. If they do copy their clothing in this one, we will find out and this will never air.
Take into consideration that even in Cdramas, most of the times clothing is not really accurate to real life dynasty clothing. Plus, you should understand that some elements may be very similar taking into consideration the history of these places. Korean kingdoms were influenced by Chinese culture like most civilizations on earth have been influenced by others. That is not considered ''copying'', just a cultural exchange. Even though dramas are fictional, I think they are a good way to get a first idea about the relationships between the two countries. Six flying dragons is very interesting in that aspect.
