I remember the plots around it, but kinda blury about Yin Qing. I remember there is that one guy who approached FL to take her away. So, wondering whether Yin Qing is that guy.

Isn't Yin Qing that guy who is from the fallen state faction?

Thought the subtitles were improving a bit given ep 7 and 8 were decent. Then, Mango says 'No' and threw ep 9 right at our face. 🤮

Now, even if I don't understand, I'm watching it without subs coz it's less headache that way. lol

This for sure ain't the last one getting raided by them as well. Save your strength for next drama pages 🤣

Yan Fuzhi is the type of character I usually find somewhere between annoying and whatever.

But, she's such a sweetheart here that I couldn't bear to dislike her. lol

I was away from other airing drama pages. I should catch up more for this POJ slop drama. lmao

The novel's summary is still the same. She is a minister, she plots stuffs for her beloved, they got married in the end.

Is it that straight forward? Absolutely not. But, anything more is basically massive spoiler territory.

I'm also hoping they keep the novel's ending. The entire final arc was so powerful and meaningful without anyone breaking the character. No love heals everything crap as well. Let this be a Goodbye My Princess 2.0. xD

I read the novel without knowing it's a SE. Man, it hit me like a truck at the end. lol

While I'm enjoying the story, the bgm choices are totally something lol

Yan Fuzhi lightly hitting someone accompanied by a punching bgm that could break half the bones in your body is totally sending me every time I hear it. 😂

So far it's actually a fun watch. Story is engaging. Production is not the best, but acceptable.

I'll stay for the story for now.

When I was reading, I was like, 'Oh, she seems to like him a lot' to 'She did what!?' really quick lol.

Gotta catch up quick. Noticed it too late last night, so could only finish ep1.

I'm sure the spicy stuffs from the novel won't make it into the drama, but I do hope the 'she chase him first' dynamic stays. 🙏

The source material of this drama is not BL. It's as straight as it can get.

Whenever I watch drama with Mango subs, I stop reading the subtitles attentively and let my intuitive understanding take over, because reading gives me more headaches lol.
