At the beginning, he was kinda mean to her in the workplace because of this reason. He was repeatedly asking Xiguang whether she remembers or not, and gets upset whenever she answered she doesn't know what he's talking about.
But, he eventually let go of this issue and decided to pursue Xiguang.

Ma Nianyuan has been posing as Nie Cheng Yuan's (Xiguang's father) daughter. Shao Jiaqi matchmaked Yusen and Nianyuan with that information. Yusen went to the appointment because he believed that Nie Cheng Yuan's daughter is Xiguang. Then, he had the accident on the way.
So, the entire time, Yusen believed Xiguang forgot their appointment back then, and she was the source of his accident.

He knows FL has his back, hence he dares to act this way. They also had the deal for him to take focus away from FL's cousin in exchange for FL's protection for him.
It was also kinda shown/implied that he doesn't need to take order from anyone else except RSB because he's technically not a servant of the Rong family.
I still can't get enough of the scene in ep10 where FL was so flustered. I think that was the first time in the story as well. Nezer plays cold beauty so damn well, I'm becoming a fan.
I can't appreciate enough how honest and true to herself Xiguang is, and the high EQ she has. Doesn't play unecessary games, doesn't betray her own conscience, never let the misunderstandings stew and resolve them by honest communication, very understanding of others but not a pushover. And all of these qualities are well written into the character, not just plastered on. It truly brought me smiles to see how she carries herself.
I don't understand why Zhuang Xu rejected Nie Xi Guang? She's rich, gorgeous and likes him, and he apparently…
He's insecure about his humble background, and very conscious about the class difference between him and Xiguang. You can see in his actions that he tend to take Xiguang down a peg or two so that he can feel the difference less.
All of those compound into him not taking any advance toward Xiguang, and he simply missed the chance eventually. He likes her and he tries to make himself better by climbing the career, but she has already moved on by that point.

I actually liked ep 20. It cannot be rainbow and sunshine all the time. They need something like this to iron out their relationship. There can be a lot of unreasonable things involved in a relationship, and where Xiguang was coming from isn't that farfetched either. It's an honest misunderstanding, nothing a good conversation cannot solve. I'm sure they'll resolve this next episode. (IRL, I'm someone like Yusen, doing his own thing without telling ppl about it. It took me a great amount of effort to get into habit after various issues big and small.)
I also actually quite liked the hospital corridor scene. Symbolically, Yusen was in a state of gloom, and Xiguang appearing from the other end and reaching out to him like a sunshine. I think that was beautiful.
