ohhhhh.. what happen with Sword Snow Stride then? I've been waiting for the 2nd season too T.T
My guess is that the second season of SSS will come first because JOL, with its 746 chapters, will definitely be more challenging and the script is far from finished as per the scriptwriter. I'm not sure how many SSS chapters there are, and it also depends on the main character's commitments. Many unknown at the moment.
I found it quite interesting that when the second prince commented on his weight loss (it's been a while. You lost weight ) because it was actually noticeable onscreen (episode 27 300 poems vs teaser 3). It was amusing how this was integrated into the storyline and I believe the screenwriter is a true genius.
I finally understand when S2 ends compared to the novel after watching teaser 3. When the scriptwriter says he has 50% of the novel to cover, he is not lying!

The following are some details about a drama show:
- The director committed suicide a year after the show aired. He was sued by the crew for non-payment and keeping the Original Soundtrack benefits. - ML, LEE MIN HO was the third option. (YAY!) -The drama turned out to be a financial disaster -the author and director who had worked together previously kept arguing on set. She disagreed with his every decision. - The screenwriter (original author) SONG JI NA praised the male lead and claimed that the drama survived only because of his talent. - The female lead, KIM HEE SUN who had been absent from acting for five years after having a baby, made a comeback with this drama. - The author wrote two volumes of the novel after the drama. However, she never finished volumes 3 and 4. She claimed three years after the director's death that she had been a bad person during the production. She tried to start writing the third volume but had to stop because a specific fight on set reminded her vividly of the director's fight, and she couldn't move on. She blogged about it in 2016. Since then, volume 3 and 4 are still unpublished in Chinese. - The author disagreed with how the villain was portrayed in the drama. - During press conferences, the author was sour and claimed that many scenes she wrote were never played, twisting the drama. - The author seemed extremely bitter until three years after the director's death when she mourned and decided to give a public apology. - The two novels end at the death of the young king, who was poisoned by the villain and killed by the male lead in the drama. The love story is just starting. - The translation is not official and has some errors in grammar and pronouns. It is still readable, but one shouldn't expect fluent English.
I read the 2 novels which were poorly translated and realized that it was similar to the drama. Although there were some differences in the perspectives and internal thoughts, there wasn't anything new to learn. It seemed like the author had just turned the TV drama into a novel without any significant changes.
On a personal note, despite its flaws such as the female lead's acting, poor editing, low budget, not enough actors and warriors, special effects, directing, and cheesy dialogues, I still love this show.
OST is a gem. However very rare. I found it on eBay very expensive! DVD available on eBay as well English subtitles. No blu-ray
It depends what bromance you are talking about. If words of honor or the untamed, the answer is no. If you means brotherhood, the answer is yes and no.
I really enjoyed seeing all the characters and actors/actresses again. Although I'm not typically a fan/groupie of any celebrities or shows, I make an exception for this one.
This was done to end season 1 with a bang; it does not exist in the novel. I bet S2 will also ends with a similar…
I am not sure about rumours, but if, at a press conference, it was mentioned as a trilogy, I guess they produced more than S2. If so, they probably did submit S3 or after editing sometime this year. Crossed finger no later than next year
