Yes, his story epitomizes everything that is wrong with the traffic over talent attitude that dominates this industry.…
Yes, there have been quite a few articles recently commenting on the problem of clone-like traffic stars with limited acting skills. They see that the majority of the audience is getting bored with the assembly line costume dramas that rely on filters, traffic and dubbing. Producer Yu Zheng even went so far as to say that people who rely on dubbing shouldn’t be called actors. He also took a dig at the overly effeminate MLs Things will change, but I’m not sure if they will change fast enough for Jeremy.
I would say it is important, but it isn’t too prominent. I’m quite happy with this because I hate those cheesy tropes of gazing into each other’s eyes while the music plays.
50 ep to 40 ep did they really cut 10ep no please just give special episode of 10ep😬 please I beg don't cut…
I don’t know if it has actually been cut to 40 episodes or if MDL just put 40 because they think it’s the maximum. .. The Tencent announcement still said 50. I’ve recently seen dramas get a licence for 43 episodes, however, I still haven’t seen confirmation of this drama getting its broadcasting licence,
Jeremy has today (06/09/2024) posted a lengthy message of apology to his fans for the shock announcement of his retirement in March this year. He explains that his father has been ill with dementia for the past six years and that right now he would like to dedicate his time to take care of his family. He thanks all the fans for their encouragement and support. I assume this is some sort of face-saving compromise that will allow him to get out of the agency contract peacefully and to keep his name (his name was changed after he joined the agency so they probably have him over a barrel with this). It will, however, block his way to a comeback until the family situation has been resolved.
What’s up with the episode count? It has suddenly changed to 40, but before it was 50…I haven’t seen any…
It depends on the platform and the mood of whoever is in charge… Usually, they drop 5-6 episodes the first day and then two episodes per day in the first week. Then they start playing around and you may get two episodes every day from Tuesday to Friday (or any variation of days). It’s a bit like drug dealers, they first get you hooked and then they leave you hanging 🤣 The trick to be able to watch episodes continuously is to only watch a few instead of binging. That way you can spread the available episodes to have at least one to watch every day. Of course you will be one step behind the people who watch all the episodes immediately, but when they whine with withdrawal symptoms, you still have something to watch 😄
Based on the leaked date, release date: 14/09/24Most of these leaked are mostly done by the producers so it may…

is this show good ? wanted to start. any spoilers ?
I like it a lot, but it depends what you’re looking for… This one starts off very light-hearted and humorous, but gets more serious as it progresses. The ML doesn’t fit the classic idea of powerful male lead, he is more of a wily, funny character, but the acting is absolutely delicious, especially in the funny scenes. The romance develops rather slowly which is fine as it isn’t the dominant element in this drama. Some of the side-character (Mr Yu front and centre!) also impress acting-wise.
Based on all the info here and there, it really seems we will get this drama this month (they are releasing something…
I heard there was going to be some press conference or event in Beijing…I don’t know if it’s today or later. Apparently, Jeremy is already in Beijing so must be soon… It’s good to see things moving in the right direction.
It seems like the situation is solved now. So maybe the Drama will air
Just because the studio said it’s solved, doesn’t mean it’s solved and ZHW’s statement sounded a lot like “the dog ate my homework”. If the police investigate they may dig up all sorts of unsavory stuff. I really want this to air because ZYC has been so unlucky with his dramas not getting aired, however, I also believe that ZHW is the scumbag that he appears to be (it’s not the 1st time this agency is involved in problems with prostitution…) so I have very little hope for this to air any time soon.
Jeremy fans, here’s your opportunity! How would you like to work for the agency that our boy was desperate enough leave to give up his career? Star Media have today posted a job advert looking for a screenwriter and a production assistant on Weibo using Jeremy’s name and picture to show what a fabulous place to work they are. If you would like to apply, or contact them, you can send an email to: [email protected]

Both of them can act and both are easy on the eye, I would be curious to see what their chemistry will be…
