I don’t think here 엿 is the slang version as they used 처럼 but just the toffee candy they do in that village…
Do you speak Korean? Did you asked a native Korean? Korean is a contextual language. That’s clearly a machine translation and it doesn’t fit neither the context, the dialogues (she used it in the drama) and I strongly doubt it’s the slang here as it isn’t used like that
This drama was simply pathetic, made for fangirls and brainless people who confuse attractive actors with a quality…

can u tell me which drama he was a lawyer except lawless lawyer?
He has one. In that Lotte commercial 7 first kisses he had a few minutes romcom 😂 More seriously Park Minyoung said several times that she wanted to work with him, that she had a big crush for him…they missed an opportunity instead of pairing her with young puppies
I am not into making more seasons of KDramas because they aren’t originally written like that. But I believe this one could have the sequel, I need to rewatch the original as I cannot pin point how many changes they have done. As the indictment was targeting the big guys (politicians, businessmen) most of the gang is still out there. Bottom part of the organization is in the loose. I doubt the money is also that easily accessible to the Korean government, he could have hidden some assets in Japan. The mafia gang with this Japanese branch can come after TeaHa to take over his father’s legacy…EunSae could in Baek Sang Gil’s belongings her husband’s mother picture she can be this time the one holding the intel, keeping him in the dark and wanting to protect him from them…they let open a few things if they want there is room for a sequel. Maybe I need to write the script…
Episode 3, I dislike every single character. I don’t care about their sad pathetic stories. I really don’t. A drama that gives you seasonal depression instantly every second. The lead guy is just disgusting just at looking at him I wonder if he showered in each scene. His hair looks greasy. Can’t watch him eat, shove all that food in his mouth without being disgusted. How many times they have to show her nose bleed too. not sure I can hang until the moment the drama becomes bearable (episode 6-7). Their encounter is a math problem when two minus meet and make a positive… That kind of content 2 hour movie it’s ok but 12 hours? just put me out of my misery right now! Sometimes you don’t feel like watching people who have more miserable life than yours…and today I really don’t!!! The drama is also very male-centric and I surely prefer female-centric contents which are easier to relate to.
I am so disgusted by the whole Park Hyeon June’s redemption act. He is a pathetic piece of 💩 don’t even try to twist it at the eleventh hour! His mother, his father and himself should all be prosecuted…does obstruction of justice, accessory of crime, bribery, harassment aren’t felonies there? Why are they walking free?!! It makes Jinju who is the real heir looks like a fool to have that guy “saving the day” That makes Jinju a fool again for crushing for him too…no man is a good ending for her I hope awful short daddy stabbed him good! At least 3 days YuNa has been wearing the same clothes…girl you must smell very bad now I believe they have a range of jumpsuits blue, grey, black annd white stripes, orange to choose from…. This writer is on crack! 😂
The writer has potential though but parts of this are definitely rough. I'd likely watch their next drama.
Usually authors rights are given only in advertising…IT is another law system but it’s given too with the honorarium, agency fee. But movie/tv/music/book author’s rights aren’t given and authors have to be paid per airing/diffusion. So if she had written something on Goblin she should be one credited and two get residuals from Viki and everywhere the drama is available. There are international laws. If not she is getting robbed and exploited because authors really live from those regular checks from Netflix, radios!

I just found in one article that she was pinned on Goblin and Mr Sunshine…but nowhere else (from professional content) her name came up 🆙 for those dramas. Technically what did those assistants really wrote. Korean productions don’t seem to work like American writing rooms with a showrunner a bunch of writers dedicated to specifics like jokes, dialogues, technical stuff such as law/medical, character’s development… Do. they look on the script to see where to add products placements or do they write real plotlines…Aside very little duos like the Hong sisters it does look like it a one author’s vision. Are there no copyright author’s right laws in Korea? How they can get away without crediting all the authors?

She is not officially credited on those dramas based upon her resume in 2016 she was still a University student in Seoul so I strongly question her concrete participation in Goblin and Mister Sunshine at least.
It’s so visible it’s a first script and the editing isn’t helping, the storytelling is a bite all over the place, lot of disjointed events, no clear path, no real pov…
