Hi I am a binge watcher and even prefer to watch dramas once they are over. I have never seen still pictures or small videos on Instagram so I have no clue what’s the vibe or cast. I think it’s a 150-episode soap too…if I manage to find a slot I can try.

Let’s see how all this unfold tonight and if a second season is to expect…
I was happy to embark on this journey with 3 strong modern and mature women. I hope to see even more stories with strong women in the future

I am not a quitter but I cannot guarantee to stick until the end, I am not into this acting style. I have already Recipe for love that I am not enjoying much and I have also switch to First man as a long run filler, that I find so far better. For my Korean practice it looks like a better fit for me too.
…But I have managed before to finish other long dramas that weren’t my cup of tea…let’s see in June

To me it also means that you cannot stay truly sane (lost oneself) when you seek revenge. Injustice should only be repaid with justice and not another form of injustice to justify your means.
I believe too that his sweet appearances portrayed perfectly that kind of people who are blinded by their own agendas and aren’t fully adjusted

The industry seems uneven

I was supposed to try First Man. I might have a look.
I am more slice of life, medicale, period or legal drama but as I did with 50- episode for a few years I have seen like 5/6 to know the genre. I have the goal to have a full circle understand ing of Korean movies and tv production.
I might dislike them (over 30 episodes period excluded) but at least I can
say visually they look better than American soaps, telenovelas or soap of my own country

The character is supposed to be like this or that isn’t a justification for over-acting emotions or behaviors.
Soap opera actors, writers, directors aren’t nominated next to other genres. What a surprise!
You might find it funny and entertaining I find it vulgar and boring.

First time trying a 100-episode drama. I Thought I had to stick in until the younger generation but lord I am struggling the story is so cheesy and the acting atrocious. Everything is such a cliche.
Curiously Kim Hee Jung was a decent actress so far in every drama I have seen her but here she is so bad! Only good aspect in this drama she is beautiful and doesn’t need to pretend to be older than she actually is.
The worst of all of them is the rich father that screams every 2 sentences.
The younger look cute but are more supporting characters than the main focus which for me it’s a pity, the story might have been better with them as leads…
The network made this drama look glamorous on Instagram but I am not ready for now on to switch to soap 🧼

As I haven’t found any other Cdrama that looks like this one or tops it…I am watching it again for the 3d times and to celebrate the one year anniversary of its completion.

This drama enhances all my senses one after one, slowly and peacefully
👀nice cinematography, beautiful blooming flowers. Tone and colours are coherent and well-balanced throughout the drama.
🤝 such great chemistry between the two leads. They also share a connection and a level of intimacy that is palpable…so rare in Asian tv entertainment due to censorship and conservatism.
👃several references on pheromones, scent (his skin, her hair, food, Perfum, herbs/woods, tree, flower)…that I can immerse myself in those sweet odors
👂the ost is soft, delicate and the best companion for this simple story between a man and woman

Apparently that story has been adapted 3000 times, and I have seen none. let’s give a try. I hope it isn’t too dramatic I try to avoid the eternal story with a terminal ill protagonist

I have watch yet the last episode so i know it’s an unpopular opinion in kdrama world to wish for less romance. 1 good one is better than 5 mediocre ones. I don’t know who
are all the
men you mentioned. I Need to catch up now! I am still at episode 10 of Undercover miss Hong I waiting the end to watch the last episodes but frankly I am typically not expecting a love story here.

After King’s Affection and Cheer Up I was wondering why Choi Byung Chan did not became bigger…now I am sure: he is just a poor actor. Silent guard as in King’s Affection might be for ever is best part!
This drama is so bad! A dystopian nonsense with shallow content. Badly written. Badly produced. Badly acted…I will literally erase of my memory seen it right away.
Second production labeled Lifetime that I have seen, Love Andante was already very bad so I hope Lifetime never ventures again in kdramas.

I don’t think the length is the major issue of those 50 episodes. Is more what kind of genre of drama do you like? 50 episodes are more family oriented dramas, the focus point of the stories is always 2/3 families facing dilemmas that make them intertwined (rich vs less fortunate) they look more like soap operas, day shows with exaggerated dramatic stories. Contrary to regular dramas they are shoot majorly in KBS/SBS studios with less outdoor scenes, so they are less
cinematographic, the OSTs aren’t at the same
level too

Old KDramas were less predictable. Now it’s always the 2 leads together personally I don’t like tropes, don’t need comfort to that extent but good stories. Multiple options could be possible: nobody, the prick who used to love her, the second lead, a new
guy that arrives just at
the end…
