What the hell happened in the beginning of episode 28? Am I the only one thrown by that bizarre edit/transition between scenes? It's like a whole section was randomly cut out.
Really divided reviews it seems... I am up to episode 10 and I think this is a great drama. I really like how the historical events intersect with the present time. Compared to a lot of K dramas, I found this much less cheesy and less typical cliches. But if you look through the comments, some love it, some hate it. So, you'll just have to give it a go. If you like mythology, unravelling a mystery, revenge and reincarnation themes, you might enjoy this!
This drama is such a weird mix of good and really bad. The interactions between the ML and FL are often hilarious, I laughed a lot. The whole 2nd ML and 2nd FL side story is abusive, toxic and disturbing, often irrelevant and well worth skipping altogether. But the worst aspect of this drama is how it normalises genuinely criminal behaviour... Like the crazy fan who assaults Geunyoung and then breaks into her house and threatens her etc and she just acts like it's fine. The whole bizarre kidnapping story which ends in a proposal and the ML is like, Oh it's fine my fan kidnapped me, and just goes along with it and everyone is like, it's all good... Wtf?
EPISODE 20 WITH THIS YU SIWAN OR SOMETHING = EVEN I WON'T GET CONVINCED. LOL.
With this drama there are just some bits of lazy subplots you just have to accept lol. Tbf dramaland specialises in these kinds of things. Overall it's a very entertaining drama imo, but it's a bit sloppy at times plotwise and in terms of the FLs ability.

Imo they have mastered the bickering couple chemistry.... Really laugh out loud funny at times... Very witty with a lot of sarcasm. I like the dialogue between these two a lot, very well written script. As for intimacy, I think we are coming up to that soon (episode 24 has just aired). In the earlier episodes, there is just an air giving underwater kiss and an accidental drunken lip graze, but they are not "together" at those times so they aren't really proper kisses. Anyway, it hasn't finished airing and you've probably only seen those two... Give it a chance! I recommend it.
Exactly! Paying a small subscription fee is also worth it for more availability, better subtitles, no viruses or annoying pop ups, and no legal issues! But regional discrimination online is absurd. Also when users pay the same amount and get more or less depending on where they are accessing it from. Apparently the US has a much larger Netflix library than I do where I am in Europe. How is that fair when you're paying the same amount?
Does a VPN work with YouTube? I tried to use one to access Korean Netflix so I could watch Bulgasal and it blocked me after 5 min. Apparently Netflix has been buying VPN IPs for this reason. I just don't get it. I pay for a subscription for an online streaming service. Why does content have to be different in different regions? It's ONLINE. So annoyed.
Hopefully we won't have to wait long. Honestly, it pisses me off when content isn't available in certain regions online in this day and age, especially when you have a subscription!
