What they censored? Also censorship has been existing for a long time, if you are a good story teller at this…
Although, I have to say, I find a more masculine man more attractive myself, providing they have all their teeth! 😉 (Or at least all the teeth I can see... as someone who's just had their wisdom teeth removed, I won't be too picky!)
u have to wait for better subs, the ones that are out are just machine translated, the ones subbed on viki are…
The Viki ones are not flawless either... A few misleading mistakes dotted about. E.g. when they're in the tomb of the Bai Kings, the tomb Bai Ying kneels in front of at the end of the episode is translated as the one of the Heavenly Emperor, but it is actually her father, one of the Bai Princes/Kings. It is accurately translated in the following episode where the scene repeats.
He was captured when he was young, blinded and forced to act against his will because Prince Qing captured many of his fellow merpeople and threatened to kill them if he didn't comply.
Are there any rumors about what exactly got censored? Cause the story seems to be bad, just because it's bad.…
Also, I don't think it's lacking in quality because of censorship, I think it's because it's just overall a bit mediocre. The acting is so so, the costumes are mediocre, the story has its good and its bad... I'm still enjoying it, but it's definitely not going down as one of my faves that I rewatch often.

I know that one, but I remember hearing a few years ago that a drama didn't pass censorship because... something about censoring the portrayal of demons or something like that. But since then there have been plenty with that theme so they must have changed their minds!
Yes. I am not crazy about him either. That is One of the reasons I already have Second Lead Syndrome. Haha.😅
Sure. I mean, in reality, most emperors were saggy and frumpy lol. You'd be hard pressed to find a portrait of an attractive Chinese emperor.😂 I've looked!
Peng Xiaoran is actually in her 30s, she just has that elf like face of perpetual youth, but in the last role I saw her in I could tell she had matured since Goodbye My Princess. Feng Shaofeng is what like 11-12 years older? I don't find that too big an age gap personally. When you get closer to 20 years, then... well... but then again, some of these super handsome Hollywood dudes like Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt are in their late 50s and still fine.... 😉
I've only watched up to episode 31, but the comment section is making me seriously concerned that these villains…
Who on earth thought of that? It was almost like they changed director and they drank spiked drinks and thought it would be a fantastic idea to have a dance sequence, despite it being totally out of character with the rest of the drama! It was sickening. I couldn't even watch it, so cringeworthy. Bad enough that these horrific criminals were just forgiven... It was so sloppily tied together.
Also, didn't Boris have something to do with Elise procuring the drugs to poison Qian Fan with? In the earlier episodes, I vaguely remember her saying, "You didn't tell me it was going to harm him for good!" Or something like that. Plot hole?
am at ep 26, do Elise and the Dr get punished in any way? He didn't lose his licence at all?! It's already frustrating…
Sometimes I feel like endings like this are more realistic. No justice for those who should be punished by the law, and the law doesn't apply to the rich. Doesn't make it satisfying to watch though.

want everyone to be 20-25.
