Oh man, when I first started this, I thought: Oh it's not that bad! But the leads' characters just aren't captivating enough somehow, I find myself caring less and less... It gets boring and draggy near the end imo. It would have been more interesting if this plot had been condensed into the first half of the drama followed by a "next level" story arc. I didn't find the FL any more annoying than the ML. She is nothing compared to some C drama FLs! Both characters fail to pack a punch.
At this point in the drama, the characters are so underdeveloped and two dimensional, I'm sorry to say. They really haven't been developed at all. No depth, no complexity, no layers. The romance has been quite superficial too. Started with so much promise and now so dry and uninteresting. I feel so disappointed in this drama!!!
This drama feels so slow but at the same it feels so fast watching it?Like the story is barely progressing, the…
I know exactly what you mean! The plot and the script is lacking massively. So sad. I loved the first few episodes, they set the tone so well in the beginning...
It pains me to say this but it feels like a whole lot of nothing is happening 😭 my excitement for the show…
Agree. I wish they would have a second go at this drama because I love the idea of the characters and the premise, but it is so lacking in content, complexity, layers and twists... They say the same things over and over again, it's all so predictable... No twists. No development or interesting evolution of either the characters or the plot. Oh man... I'm so disappointed. This story deserves a second shot with far more competent writers... It had such an enchanting, exciting vibe in the first few episodes, but it has just devolved so much...

You should have read the warnings in the comments... 😄Episode 53 is responsible for this drama having a lower rating imo! It's a complete and utter mess.

You mean in episode 53? I can't remember clearly anymore, but the whole point is to not watch that episode because it makes no sense. My interpretation at the time was very different from some others' interpretations. We don't know,it's a weird episode, which is why I advise people to skip it and pretend the series ends on episode 52.
Ugh! I'm sorry, I have to say it! There would not be blossoms AND peaches on the tree AT THE SAME TIME!!!! Love…
lol I've seen this sort of stuff so many times, I don't even care anymore. Everything is possible in dramaland! Fruit and blossom on the same tree? Sure. Permanent blossom forests? Also common. Rain that triggers immediate fainting spells or severe illness? Normal...
Personally, this is one of my favourite dramas. I have rewatched it several times It has a certain vibe that I…
The way I see it, there's some kind of problematic issue in every C drama... It would be hard to find one that wasn't in some shape or form.
I have compassion for Yin Xue because he paid the karmic price. It would be hard for anyone if the love of their life didn't remember them. He's a bit clingy at first, sure. Seemed a bit insecure, a bit anxious to make sure he doesn't lose her after waiting for her to be reincarnated. But I think characters who are too perfect are unrealistic. I like a more complex character like Yin Xue. As a sect leader, he is wise, quiet and cunning, but as a man in love, he is like a little boy, a bit too eager. I find that an interesting contrast.
I think the whole drama is quite mature and meditative somehow.
