Yuan Qi calling Zhi Yang "First Uncle" and Tian Qi "Third Uncle", too bad the English translation doesn't translate…
Yeah, there's a lot of terms of address and ways of speaking (e.g. speaking in third person) that don't translate well from Chinese to English because there isn't a linguistic equivalent, or it would take too many words to express the right concept, making subtitles too wordy/long. For example, shixiong (haven't got a Chinese keyboard on this device) i.e. sect disciple older brother. Since I've learned Chinese, I can see just how much extra meaning is lost in translation from the original to the subs.
Its says coming soon for couple month now. Along with couple other series. Ancient Love Poetry, Oath of Love,…
The intro song for Court Lady! Yeah! The swirling gold. Gorgeous.
Court Lady was a bit of a let down, not because it was bad, but because it wasn't as good as it could be. One problem was that there was a lack of focus on the main leads, the side characters all got more screen time. The script was rubbish. I didn't like the romance between the FL and ML, felt stupid and immature.
HOWEVER... the costumes, especially of the palace ladies, were stunning and seemed very authentic. It was also enjoyable to watch, if you lower your expectations and decide to enjoy the side stories and don't focus on the leads.

Totally agree. Sword and Brocade could have been so much better with a more dynamic FL, imo. The Long Ballad for me was good, but something was missing for me... Most Dilraba dramas have high rewatch value for me, but Long Ballad was a bit meh by comparison. I can't even put my finger on what it was exactly.
I'm also an OST lover. :-D What are your favourite OSTs, score/songs?
Plus the episode before last is actually a good ending. I would happily have stopped there.
You were bored of Princess Silver? I loved that drama, rewatched it several times. I never skip episodes, you'll miss so much context and development.... Like I said in my original comment, the penultimate episode feels like an ending. :-)

I don't know what they were thinking in the last episode, it's almost like a different and totally incompetent team took over. It really polluted the rest of the drama for me, which is actually very good, in my opinion anyway - if you like historical/wuxia/court dramas. It has a lot of twists and turns, a lot of tragedy but it's also heartwarming, and the characters grow a lot. Just skip the last episode to avoid disappointment. :-D
I’m reading a lot of negative comments, and I’m contemplating whether to watch it or not. But some says this…
Really? I've only seen positive comments so far... I watched the first episode and it seemed like a promising start. Great CGI. If you like xianxia, give it a go. I'm going to wait until it finishes airing so I don't have to wait between episodes.
is there a watch order for watching the novoland series? , because there are so many "novoland" so confused from…
No, although they technically are all Novoland stories, the stories are mostly free standing. Also, the style of each drama is immensely different. For example, Novoland Castle in the Sky 1&2 is sort of Chinese standard teen fantasy, whereas Tribes and Empires is more mature and Games of Thrones like (Blockbuster worthy cinematography). Eagle Flag is somehow midway between those two.

Love&Redemption missed the mark a bit for me personally because the cast was a bit too immature/childish for my liking...
