I didn't watch this drama because it has so many bad reviews but it has 8.1 ratings so now i am gonna give a try
I think it depends on how you feel about Angelababy. I dropped this drama because her acting annoyed me so much. I liked everything else. Did you watch it in the end?
Hahahaha i remember the scene you're referring to! >.< btw i fell in love with Chen Kun in TROP too and I'm just…
Yes, he was absolutely phenomenal on Rise of the Phoenixes. But the whole drama was just a masterpiece in my opinion. All his other dramas have such poor ratings, except for this one. How is it possible? I'm adding this one tk my list, but he will forever be Ning Yi for me. ❤
There's a lotto say about this drama but the thing that irked me the most was the decision to just to give the…
There's a lot of problematic issues in Chinese dramas that I tend to ignore. For one, they're absolutely brutal to people who are overweight. The fat characters are always really dumb and constantly mocked and/or treated like dirt by the other characters. I guess the body positivity movement hasn't reached China yet! Haha!
Agreed. I also liked the more mature / manly quality that Chang Chen brings. You could try Princess Silver. The…
I just think they have great chemistry. I would have changed a few things if I could, but I still really like it. I like all the stuff from that 3 miles of peach blossom world.

Oh, just one thing, Eternal Love of Dream is a bit draggy in the beginning, but got good later on if you haven't watched it yet. The first 10-20 episodes are a bit lame, but persevere and you will be rewarded.
This was actually good made more so by the lead female being different from the usual annoying tropes and she…
Just finished it and I have to disagree regarding the childishness.. Feng Wu had promise in the beginning, but I felt when she revealed her identity she just became as much a bimbo as the rest of the female cast.
When is there going to be a new drama like this and of this quality? I am in withdrawal! Eternal Love, Eternal Love of Dream, Love and Destiny... I need more!
My favorite C drama Xianxia. I diddn't like Eternal Love but Love qnd Destiny I loved it so much. Do you have…
Agreed. I also liked the more mature / manly quality that Chang Chen brings. You could try Princess Silver. The ML, Aarif Rahmann, although a bit younger, has a similar vibe. Eternal Love of Dream also has the lovely Vengo Gao, who is in his mid- to late 30s. Also, Legend of Fu Yao is great. Ethan Yuan has a boyish face, but he's more mature than a lot of other MLs and he's also a model so pretty well-built. The Song of Glory also has an older ML
I didn't like General and I because of Angela Baby, I found her so incredibly annoying because her face was always the same somehow and she was always doing duck lips. Her acting lacked versatility in my opinion.
I read that this drama is from the same production team as Eternal Love. Now unfortunately I struggled with the…
I know what you mean with Eternal Love. I rewatched it recently and also felt that the side plots occupied too much time, I ended up skipping a lot of sections. This drama is different. There are a few side plots, but I felt that they didn't occupy as much screen time as in Eternal Love. This is one of my top Chinese dramas ever and I have rewatched it from start to finish several times.
The problems they face are largely because of their identities and their responsibilities. There's a few villains with different agendas. One is kind of a villain because he is too inflexible and sees everything in black and white, he later becomes more enlightened. The second is vengeful who has suffered an injustice and goes bad because of that. There is another that just wants to destroy. And the last who becomes that way because of his conflict between his desire for love and his lust for power and revenge. This last villain is quite a rich character.

There is a happy ending. I liked it!
