I hope they make more productions like this! I loved it. I could quite happily have watched more episodes, but I also think that short and sweet really suited this kind of slice of life drama.
What a beautiful, authentic, heartwarming slice of life story set in the Kazakh nomadic community! This is totally unlike your regular C drama and feels more like an arty, indie production. Having lived for a time in Mongolia and spending some time with a nomadic family, this drama was really nostalgic for me. Very authentic. Very special.
Anyone looking for something different and to look into another world and culture should give this gem a chance. I hope to see more productions like this in the future!
No, she didn't. He was sad cause he was missing her cause she went to America for treatment. In the end after…
She's not really there. It's a day dream sequence to show how he feels her presence around him even after her death. They imply many times that she has died, they just don't show it directly.
A very well told story from start to finish. Very enjoyable to watch but somewhat flawed imo. The acting was average and the characters were a bit shallow compared to more mature historical dramas, but it was all put together so well that it made up for any weaknesses and made it an enjoyable watch. Similar to New Life Begins and Dream of Splendor but aimed at a younger audience.
Ep.9 is quite confusing... why is she STILL blaming herself and wanting him to avoid her? Like I don't understand…
He keeps getting hurt or killed because he is getting in the way of the killer targeting her. The whole story is about her trying to prevent him from getting hurt.. Initially she thought he was depressed and suicidal, but now she sees that the psycho who is after her has made Sunjae a target because he keeps protecting her. She loves him and wants to save him, so it makes perfect sense that she would blame herself for the harm that keeps coming his way.
Not really a fan of the Leads or anyone, but am actually enjoying this one, I can't understand my appreciation…
Agree. I like this drama but they are not taking enough time to develop the main couple imo. Ep 7 has more scenes, but still they could have developed that relationship more by this time imo
They should have casted the Royal Physician Choi better. He’s supposed to be older than the Queen Dowager as…
Personally, I think they look the same age. I think the Orabeoni is just like the "oppa" term of endearment, it's not necessarily an indication of an age gap. The QD doesn't have a son? The King is also not her son. They're not related so there's no need for an age gap.
I have been thinking the same thing, especially because his watch only has one more chance to go back in time.…
I don't think he will reset everything because then he'd be dead and she'd be paralysed, but I wouldn't be surprised if that clock becomes useful at some point since the watch she used is no longer in her possession.
Me too! I usually never rewatch K drama episodes while they're airing, but this one has given me withdrawal and the comedy scenes have me in fits of laughter every time.
