This drama has become one of my favourite dramas of all time. It's extremely well done. The acting, the story, the sets, the music, the pace, the costumes... it's all amazing. First class.
They were forced to stop filming because of breached copyrights hence the cliffhanger and lack of continuation.
I'm not sure about the details, but I think the author did not give them permission to use their work. Since they were forced to stop filming, there must have been a lawsuit involved.
