Finally finished this. Loved this because it was mostly feel good and I liked the characters. But I hated that the grandma got off so lightly. I was expecting it because it's a kdrama after all. Years of emotional and mental abuse and neglect gone poof because of one apology. A joke.

Lol. I re-watched parts of Crazy Love after posting this comment. First time I saw him was in Temperature of Love as the second male lead and I could not take my eyes off him. The man turns every role into something special imo.

Just finished ep 3 and I am so mad at the mum. "It must have hurt"? That's all she says instead of apologising to her daughter after all the nasty hurtful things she said to and about her. Not to talk about the neglect the poor child must have experienced. Urgh

It wasn't their intention because they said exactly what they meant and it was clear what they meant. The problem came from you misreading/misunderstanding them (which you don't acknowledge).

And I get your point because people complain about subs being too slow when it's fansubbers taking their time to do everyone a favour. But that was clearly not the case here at all.

This could have been so much better. It started out well but just kinda got worse with each episode. I'm not saying it's bad. It was entertaining and the leads are good-looking. But so much of the dysfunction was just there for the plot.

The actors are competent so I hope they get more roles.

I liked this show. A lot. But I can't get over the casual cruelty and toxicity of all four lead characters. I had hoped nobody ended up with anybody and they went back to their friend groups and just did stupid teenage stuff. They don't have any tools to deal with the not-so-romantic aspects of dating. The break-up-to-make-up cycle is going to last years. Good thing it's fiction.

This is so bloody entertaining and funny. Helps that I like all the characters and there is no villain or crazy plot twist or mix-in of genres. It's giving romcom 100%.

Kim Jae Wook is a fantastic actor. He's not the main lead in this and he's acting circles around everyone else. And the other actors are quite good so that's saying something.

This is the sort of drama you watch at a slow pace. I've been watching this for weeks and it hits different than if I had decided to binge. I love everything about it.

Zhi sure is privileged. She sees things from such a rose-tinted perspective that comes from having secure backup. Even if she failed as an artist she could have just returned home to the family business. And of course she's very "financial status doesn't matter" because she's not the one who is being ragged about it.

The synopsis does not do this justice. Looks like it'll shape into something really good.

The grandma funds their life from the look of things and she's likely trying to secure a future heir to her business hence trying to get him to spend time at the reserve. He negotiated it down to the three months before he has to resume college. But he hasn't gotten the scholarship yet. He just applied.

Maybe in your culture y'all are limited to two genders. If you have a culture to call your own, that is. Gender is not binary in my culture and many others around me. We have words for the different genders in our languages. Don't be making such absolute statements when your knowledge of the world is limited to whatever the hegamony has spoon-fed you. What you believe means nothing in the grand scheme of the world. I could not give two fucks about American politicisation of people's lives and realities. To define the world by that nonsense just makes you ignorant as fuck.

"Gawin's acting is terrible, sorry, not sorry" I agree, painful as it is to do so because Gawin can act. He's just missing all the notes on this one. The character being immature and childish doesn't matter because a good actor would be able to pull it off, their way at least. I'm blaming the director for this one.

You make a good argument but... we both know they're not being intentional else the first time we see the vampires won't be at that super exclusive event and Thana would be dressed a little differently. They actually tried to replicate that aura but they're just not getting it. They're just lucky to have viewers who fill in the gaps for them to make it make sense.

Maybe you mean sensations rather than emotions? And even at that just taste and smell. The silliness of vampires twinkling in the sun put me off Twilight so I don't understand the comparison 🌚
