Not a fan of make-out scenes without feelings behind them, so the first episode was just an okay watch for me.
I did fall in love with Sand and Ray. I can see them falling for each other slowly. Sand is like his home - full of oddly put together inexpensive furniture but still warm and comfy. Ray is a lost boy looking for a warm home. They have to end up together! I hope the show doesn't do them dirty.
As for the other 4 boys, the one I find the most vulnerable among them is Top. He may turn out to be a spider patiently waiting for the fly to walk into its web, but I really won't blame him for it. Mew didn't ask for love, he asked for more than just a one-night stand. Top is giving it to him. I see more vulnerability in him than in Mew TBH. I see steel behind Mew's soft facade, and if things go wrong between them, I feel Top will end up with more damage.
Don't care for Boston and Nick. I don't know if it's the acting or their characters, but they leave me cold.
I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't this. Seems like a slice-of-life, coming of age story of a group of youngsters a la Hello My Twenties, but gay. The romance is subtle and very everyday-life, not the kind of glamorous romance we see in most BLs. Not that it's a bad thing.
So there's a high school crush that hasn't changed despite 2 years of ghosting, a crush on clueless best friend, and a case of lust at first sight. It was all a bit confusing at first coz most of them know each other, and it took me some back and forth between the two episodes to figure out exactly what's going on. Will need to watch the next two episodes to know if this style of storytelling is working for me.
This was a transition episode that sets up the main players and their potential relationship dynamic. That meeting with the agent may seem unnecessary but it told us that CJ needs Simeon as a model after antagonizing the agent, that Simeon is cocky and unpredictable, and that he has a strong interest in LJ. I guffawed at the way CJ got shoved aside like a base-heavy statue.
It was also good to see CJ's insecurity in the face of not one but two rivals. Seems like LJ is finally setting some boundaries with his HR nightmare of a boss cum childhood friend. I mean, fiance?! Things are going to get hot in this office!
The 3rd episode was a big improvement on the first two. I am enjoying the gradual breaking down of the walls between SolHee and DoHa. They instinctively understand the each other's loneliness, and there is tentative trust/admiration too.
It is clear that >!SolHee misunderstood her ex just like she misunderstood her client's boyfriend. There are still feelings there at both ends.!<
The idol is stupid and a chaos creator but also likeable in a childish way. I look forward to >!her possible romance with the handsome driver.!<
This is Gone With The Wind π Well, why not? Namgoong does make a dashing Rhett Butler and Ahn Eun Jin is a suitably bitchy but adorable Scarlett O'Hara. That last monologue about sound of the flowers gave me butterflies. I already know I'm not going to drop this one.
nah he still has that lingering feelings & feels sorry to SW for not being able to choose him bcs he still likes…
I could have accepted this if they hadn't had a long conversation in the cafe the same day. They had said their goodbyes twice. There was no need for a third time.
JS and SH are still together right?? Guys pls tell for my sanity.
Yes, they are still together. In fact they seem to be living together! SungHo posted today on his cat's IG with the cat asking JunSung Oppa to come home quickly so that they can go out and eat meat! π₯Ή
JunSung in his orange hoodie hugging SungHo in relief made me super emotional π₯Ή I can bet my car that SungHo was asked to call SeonWoo by the show makers. He had already said his goodbyes in the Cafe, there is no way someone as emotionally mature as him decided to hurt JunSung like that. JunSung looked shaken and sad on not receiving a voice message. That's why he wrote only SungHo's name on the card. If he had got a message, I'm sure he would have written a love letter. In a way, the show makers cheated SungHo out of a nice message from JunSung.
When JunSung asked them to finish the interview quickly coz he is meeting SungHo later, I wanted to hug him π₯° I loved seeing glimpses of them being together after the show. The idiots actually went to a theme park dressed as school boys. I just can't with them π₯Ή Also, it was HJoon filming their celebratory video, which means these guys still hang out together!
In a way, the show also confirmed that the other pair didn't last. It was expected. MinSung and HJin had no chemistry and no feelings. For MinSung, HJin was his backup, and for HJin, MinSung was the only person who showed any interest in him. I am so happy HJoon decided to drop MinSung after reading him for the manipulator he was. After being rejected by HJoon through the letter and no voice message, MinSung had no option but to 'choose' HJin. His face showed he wasn't happy about it coz the one he liked was HJoon. All that explanation to HJin about choosing him after careful consideration was so funny. HJin was just happy to not leave the house without being paired. They were so awkward with each other, and both couldn't wait for the cameras to stop rolling so that they can go their separate ways. I won't be surprised if they both went back to their homes that day and never called each other again π
Poor LJ actually cried in outrage sitting on that lap π€£π€£π€£
CJ is a shameless rhinoceros, and puppy LJ doesn't know what hit him. This is the kind of HR nightmare I shouldn't be enjoying as a woman, but I can't stop cackling π
And we have the fourth player of this quadrangle entering next week. Things are going to get messy and I'm can't wait to see rhino CJ take on his love rivals! π

Cute first two episodes. It's clear that both are in love but both are too scared to lose the other. So they are holding on to each other as friends.
I'm loving the fall colours and soft lighting. And the boys are so pretty!
