It was a podcast. When he accepted the invitation in the middle of a huge controversy, he knew he will be asked and he went anyway! Sorry, but to me, his behavior and lack of solidarity is something that I won't let slide! Meanwhile, ZLH gets dragged all over the place for something that he had absolutely no control over!

He could've stayed silent to support his cast mates! Instead, he just covered his own backside in this roundabout way, just in case things get even worse than how are they now!
Looks is up to the director. ZLH look spellbinding here but it was up to the production team and all the filters…
I'm sorry, but being a minority has nothing to do with being treated like a second class person and being denied basic human rights that the rest of us have since birth! There's nothing "personal" about being able to live like a normal human being!
Besides, Thailand, Taiwan and Nepal there are no counties in Asia where a LGBTQ+ person has the same human and legal rights, including marriage like everyone else! In Japan there are a few prefectures and cities where a civil union can be certified, but same sex partnership is not legal nationwide! Hong Kong recognizes same sex partners for limited benefits.
The series is really enjoyable to watch, with a lovely story, and the actors, my dear man, they're a great match.…
Only the cast is Korean, but the whole production is Thai! Check the the crew and the credits and you'll see! Furthermore, you would never encounter these type of explicit NC scenes in a regular KBL!
I think I tag along (so no brownies)So far ... as for me it's not baaaaad but it's certainly not great. And it's…
I'm so relieved that I'm not the only one who feels underwhelmed about this BL, especially after waiting so long for it!
Honestly, it's the brainless writing that's ruining it for me! No matter how good the actors are, if the script and the plotline reads like a teenage Mary Sue's wet dream while tripping on shrooms! It's just so childish!
I really hope, that things will turn for the better, because Net and JJ deserves much better than this and I really want them to succeed!

Just to be clear, there's NO BL/GL agenda in China, actually quite the opposite! There's no equality and equal rights for the LGBTQ+ people under the regime! There's plenty coercion in every front in the entertainment business and my post wasn't about that issue.
Well, it's just after Friday and I'm here once again and I know, that I'm not going to get any brownie points for my opinion this time around either!
This storyline has so much potential, but so far, the writers are very successful in keeping Nakhun's character at nitwit level and relying on cheap gimmicks instead of adding depth into JJ's role! Again, I have NO issue with the production or with the acting itself! JJ is doing his best to elevate the atrocious script to a palatable piece with his skills and he should get an award for that!
I've been told, that the storyline will turn to a more mature direction soon and honestly, I can hardly wait! I really want to see JJ shine in this series! At least, this episode was a little bit less chaotic and I take that as a good sign! To truly showcase his talent JJ will need an emotionally engaging plotline not a circus clown routine! I'm just worried, that the writer(s) not up to par for that!
I'm also aware of the fact many netizens are satisfied with this series so far and find this type of comedy quite entertaining! Even though, that I am in a very small minority group who needs much more substance than what we've seen so far, I can appreciate many other aspects of this BL, including the cinematography, the costume designs and the all around high quality production!
Also, I'm looking forward to the development of the secondary couple and to all the interactions between Net and JJ in the upcoming episodes! Of course, it's just IMHO, as always! See you all next Friday!

Unfortunately, the BL industry will be their next target! They will legislate new laws to close the loopholes that managed to circumvent the censorship of many projects last year! They're already started prosecuting some actors and suing companies that are linked with BL contents! This is only the beginning I'm afraid!
It’s about time the government intervened, this is a blessing in disguise for the health of actors which includes…
I'm sorry, but it's never about the actors' well being! They will be controlled pretty much the same, but this time it will be more hidden, and will be backed up by the regime to "uphold" traditions, values and whatever catchy and patriotic slogans they could use to justify their thinly veiled political agenda!
Well, my fellow netizens, the Chinese government just made sure that dramas like POJ will be reshaped and sanitized and censored to the bone until there's nothing left just to promote the party's agenda! We might as well start to say goodbye to drama's like this right now! The fantasy world that we've enjoyed so much, got too popular and that's a big no-no! If you overshadow the party in the news cycle for too long, they'll make sure that you're ending up on the chopping block! https://news.mydramalist.com/article/china-tells-c-dramas-to-end-idolization-of-looks-and-apply-xi-jinping-thought-on-culture
I've seen this coming from a mile away! This whole thing started with a comment from an official military account, which was a clear indication of a political agenda! People were getting too happy, enjoying the world of fantasy too much (because it's one of the very few little joy that is left for them) and it became too popular in the Western market, so it must be crushed swiftly! They already tried to censor everything to the bone, but the fantasy world barely took a scratch and kept growing bigger and stronger! In China, nothing supposed to be more popular than the party and it's leaders, so more drastic measures are needed to discourage the masses from escaping into the world of fantasy! We might as well get ready to say goodbye to most of the type of dramas like POJ and the like very soon! Next they will come for the BL industry! They are already prosecuting actors and suing companies! This will be a full scale frontal assault!
Uhm... I was under the illusion that I understood this story until the last 15 seconds of the final episode! 😵💫 So, he is running like a madman, (instead of calling a cab, but whatever), then it cuts to a scene where he is actually kissing his stepbrother! Should I take it as a glance into the future, or was it a final dream snapshot of the younger stepbrother? Could be door number 3, with the director throwing to us, BL fans some smooch as a peace offering, to keep the mad horde at bay 🤣
This BL surprised me both in a good way and in a not so positive way! Let me explain!
SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT!
This script had so much potential, unfortunately, judging by the finished product none of the writers had the slightest idea what to do with it! Don't get me wrong, I wasn't expecting a Harlan Coben type of mystery, but I was looking for logic, common sense and realistic scenarios. Silly me!
Let's start with the amnesia part! So, a young man woke up after suffering a head injury in a private room and the first warning light popped up for me right away! In any modern and adequately equipped hospital an unconscious patient with a head injury will be hooked onto a monitor for the patient's vital signs without exceptions! Also, he will be given fluids and medicine through IV as well. None of that was happening to poor Haneul, so I already knew that the writers were not going to be bothered by pesky details or care for accuracy, so I adjusted my expectations accordingly right away ! Things went downhill from there regarding the script!
Throughout this series none of the characters behaved in a rational or a normal way except Haneul and the unhinged stalker turned killer! His mother and his sister acted more like distant relatives, his boyfriend the moron who never heard of security systems, nor bothered to hire a few bodyguards which is actually the norm for every famous celebrity, not to mention how tight that security would've become if they or their family is threatened! I could go on and on with the rest of the brainless plot from the psycho friend to the laughable police investigation through the idiotic prison scenes, etc., but if I do, this post will turn into a novella! I have to wonder, who were the geniuses who came up with this lunacy and how did it pass for a plot?
On the other hand, even with the cringe worthy dialogues and nonsensical scenarios, Haneul's parts made some sense! Hwang Jun Su's performance was one of the reasons why I didn't drop this BL!
Acting as a confused 19 years old with teenage impulses and the immature behavior to match it in one scene, then turn 180 and act as a 29 years old man, who's scared, traumatized and unable to stay in the relationship any longer, no matter how much they love each other in the next scene and doing a decent job of it! We're not talking about a Baeksang worthy performance here or something, but he clearly has some talent and if he keeps improving and landing better and bigger roles I would love to see him in future projects!
I wish I could say the same about Lee Ja Woon, but besides being given an idiotic role, his acting skills or rather the lack of it was evident. He rotated 5-6 facial expressions during the entire series, nis lines sounded like they came from an AI and it was quite noticeable that the cameras were a distraction for him and he couldn't relax or stay in character! The only time that he looked more natural was during the intimate and NC scenes, as long as he kept his focus on Jun Su!
Yeah, we need to talk about those NC scenes! Every kiss was raw and passionate! No pretending, no dead fish pecks or smashed closed lips in sight! The first NC scene in episode 2 is played out on a couch in Haneul's dream, and it was probably a shock for most of us I guess, because watching these Korean actors we forgot that it was a Thai production and they play by totally different rules, especially if the series wasn't meant for mainstream distribution!
So, there I was, jaw dropped on the keyboard, staring at a very sensual, peach-baring lovemaking session, with perfectly edited, skilled camerawork paired with a beautiful piano solo! Me and Haneul jerked awake at the same time! I had to replay it a few times, just to make sure that I wasn't imagining things (Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!). 😄
Episode 5 started with the 2nd NC scene, so I had to hit pause right away to ready myself for whatever comes next! It's another dream from Haneul and this time we're in the backseat of a car (yes, we, because it felt like I was sitting inside with them) and the exquisite sensuality, the impeccable camerawork and editing are back, and the music, oh that piano paired with the violins created the perfect soundtrack for the scene! Then me and Haneul jolted awake once again and naturally, I had to replay the scene for (Dear reader, please, insert any lame excuse here in your head, so I won't embarrass myself so much! Thank you for your help!) reason! 😄
The 3rd NC scene was a very brief encounter. This time it's not a dream and it doesn't get any further than some hot kissing on the sofa, getting the shirt off and the scene fades away while we enjoy another piano solo!
The final episode brought the final NC scene with it and honestly, I wasn't ready for it! It was art, it was beauty! So natural, so real, that it felt like I'm intruding and I shouldn't be watching them! The camerawork, the editing and the music were in complete harmony and those two actors made me believe that I'm watching the lovemaking of a real couple!
In conclusion, this BL is like having a bipolar whiplash, when you feel like you are watching a badly written dramedy half of the time, while on the second half it's switched into an authentic love story, with masterful camera shots, scorching chemistry and exquisite sensuality played to perfection! Of course, it's just IMHO as always!
Sure, lets just push the party line and "advise" the younger actor to be humble and accept criticism for something that he had absolutely no control over! What a class A ass-kisser! Chinese cultural propaganda at it's finest!
Maybe, some people might find my post helpful or useful to navigate through all this.
Thank you for stopping by!
