Yes….its a good plot but the actors aren’t as dynamic and failed to elicit the emotional heartbreak you feel with Lost. I rated Lost and War of Faith as 10’s, this a 8.

Absolutely amazing. Splendid work. It was so good, 62 episodes seemed short and I will really miss it. Cast was truly next level, they really made the series come alive.
One thing caught my attention, or I should say, I remembered something that might be important.
Why did Zhan Ji die so young? Just before he died and actually, that episode and one previously….he has a lot of confusion and complains about headaches and dizziness.
Well, remember the scene he is in battle and he gets smashed in the head with the sledgehammer?
Although he recovered, we do see his personality start to change after that. It is entirely possible he suffered from a brain injury that eventually led to an aneurysm. Because he died suddenly, just collapsed.

You might enjoy the movie Mal.Mo.E. I think it’s on Tubi. It’s the story about when the Japanese occupied Korea, they forbid anyone to write or speak the Korean language, Hangul. The story centers around the insurgency whom lost many lives restoring the Hangul language (a dictionary) back to the Koreans.

It’s Hangul for Joseon. 😎

Yes, please do. I forgot to mention also that although I adore actors like NamKoong Min, Rowoon and Jung Woo Sung, there is no actor quite like Ah In. He could do a whole series and never say a word…..and an astute watcher would know exactly what he was thinking and feeling. 🥰.
His work is lost to a lot of people. Talk at ya later 😎

WOW…..is all I can say. This was truly a film only Ah In could bring to life. Absolutely exceptional casting for all three top spots. And my goodness (giggle) Ah In’s sex scenes -
The more I watch his works, the more I am becoming convinced that he isn’t acting…….we are seeing the linear parallel inner life of Ah In brought to life, baring his soul to us, thru his outer artistry.

This film really is only for people who have a deep consciousness of the understanding of life. Others, the shallow ones, will become quickly bored and confused. I wonder how many caught that he had in essence, become his father.

I would also add. Their website is constantly changing their website address/name in order to keep flying under the radar. I hadn’t been able to get in for months, you would click on something and you would get porno websites.
Eventually Pinky helped me out and gave me the updated link and I am back to watching.

I am 80. I think your post is spot on and well written. We use swear words when a situation has gone from the ridiculous to the sublime. Reading your post was cathartic……it doesn’t solve In Ah’s issue but sometimes a good rant is called for 💜😎

He received the majority of the drug use in a hospital setting. This just blows me away. This situation is like a Sageuk……where the Noble Class makes up sh*t to railroad a person they don’t like

It’s not a “Justice” system, that is the problem. It’s still the “Noble Class” versus the serfs and slaves…..why the people don’t realize this is beyond me. It’s just like the U.S. where most people are brainwashed and brain dead. Everything the U.S. touches, turns to sh*t.

I used to be very much against pirate stations but I changed my mind when they started holding us hostage with this regional restriction nonsense.
When Bloody Heart came out Disney said it would be on their website so I signed up. It’s not cheap. Every month I would contact customer service and they would say “soon”.
They never, still haven’t, not even on their Hulu channel, ever aired it. So I was out $18 x 6 months.
A year later, it still wasn’t being aired in the U.S. That did it for me. It’s a scam and a racket.
Now, I have no compunctions about going wherever it’s being aired.

No one has obviously learned, or cared to learn, how to stop this destructive behavior in SK. I would have thought Sun Kyun would be a wake up call, but witnessing what they are doing to Shuga, this crap keeps going on and on

Although there are a lot of nasty MDL comments about Good Earth......I thought it was great and it was so nice to see him again. You can't find Chicago Typewriter anymore, I have been looking on eBay often for the series DVDs

Adding to my post above. Yes. The law had it's hands tied behind their backs in trying to get rid of the cartels. They weren't allowed to arrest them, all they could do was confiscate the grows. As an example, the grower across the road was busted five different times, they confiscated tons of weed each time and they were back the next day replanting.
We finally got the law changed and they could arrest them for illegal weapons and illegal grows.
But there are just as many horror stories about communities having to endure the side effects of legal grows
People's ideas of thinking legalizing drugs is changing, especially those who have had to live side by side with cartels. It's not so cute anymore when your children see dead bodies riddled with bullet holes, on their way to the bus stop

I will add something not addressed in these forums on this subject. I live in the High Desert of California. It took more than five years and millions of dollars for the law to eradicate the illegal weed cartel farms here.
There were literally thousands of huge grows here
They poisoned our water tables, stole water and electricity, and we had to endure dodging running gun battles on our rural roads . They were draining our water tables.
There is more to consider about this situation than just the obvious.
