Super excited for this one! Does anyone know if there’s a link to read the novel in English, paid or free? And is it actually a human translation or just AI? Because I’m not paying for AI, I can do that myself 🤣
I noticed the writer wrote two more chapters this year, new, but they are notyet translated.. i am stuck until…
Me too, I'm rereading the novel while I'm waiting for the special episode and for the rest chapters to be translated 😭 Although I can’t be completely objective because this series affected me like no other in recent years, I understand what you mean about Yun Qi's acting. But considering that it was his debut, he did an excellent job and you can already imagine how much he can grow as an actor. As for dubbing in Chinese dramas in general, I’ve gotten so used to it by now that it doesn’t bother me anymore.
Mixed reviews? Overall, the reviews are almost entirely positive, because the series really excels at what it’s…
More their dislike for one of the main characters, couse as I said, they're many people who can't separate fixtion from real life. Again it's very dark series, but I hope you'll give it a try, it's addictive 🥰
Same here, two weeks since the last episode aired and I still can't move on. At least YunYi are successful and…
Not sure about that 😞 This morning I read a post by the author, who said that filming is very difficult because of sasaengs who follow them everywhere, and she apologizes in advance in case they are unable to film the special episode 😭 I'm so sad and pissed, if we don't get the special I'll be devastated.
Almost two weeks without our boys, and I'm not even close to move on, I love them so much it hurts 😭 The way this series captivated my poor heart is beyond words...
Guys, shall I watch 'To My Shore'? I've seen many mixed reviews on this, so I don't know if it's worth it. I've…
Mixed reviews? Overall, the reviews are almost entirely positive, because the series really excels at what it’s trying to do. The acting and production quality are not something you usually see in BL, especially from China. Apart from a few trolls and maybe five or six people who can’t tell fiction from real life, I honestly don’t know what else you saw besides good comments about the show. It’s very toxic and very dark, so if that’s not your thing and you think it might affect you negatively, it’s better not to watch it. In my opinion, it's a same for every bl fan to miss this masterpiece
I am really curious, I am in Ep3 after watching FX molest YSL. Is sexual molestation ok now? What am I missing?…
On episode 3, it’s still too early to judge, and no one is applauding FX’s actions or behavior. The show has high ratings because it’s extremely well made for its genre in every way, from the performances and chemistry to the directing, and because it has a very distinctive story. Of course, it’s not for everyone. It’s intense and plays heavily with the viewers’ psychology and emotions, so not everyone can handle it. But most importantly, it’s fiction. I really hope we can finally stop confusing TV shows with real life. We’re all adults watching this. It shouldn’t be that hard to separate the two.

I think for now I’ll rewatch some of my favorite BLs until something worthy comes out, or until I get over these boys a bit 😭
