not gonna lie: the pace is too slow for me. and the story does not do anything. Amnesia seems to not be my trope. or kink.
but damn, both ML and FL are like... holy moly more than beautiful!
they both would do well as fairies and immortals!
finally some FL , I can get into!
ML, I like him since lost you forever, his visuals are so doing it for me! More than the three other Male (love) interests of the FL.
so, put this on the shelf, will download all eps, once its completely aired.

its produced for smartphone users, who are commuting daily with train or trams and busses, .
like drama-snacks.
instead of having to spend 45-50 min.
these eps are only 10-20 minutes max.

2) great question, some actors are great, i wish some producers see them, and pick them up for the larger productions.

yeah, it totally depends on the camera angle, but damn, i have rewatched the eps like twoce and each time i thought, woah, i know that face! and from all current big stars, the resemblance with cheng yi, is like highest.
i hope that ML gets more chance to move up to full fledged dramas ..

actually, i think, its inevitable that people compare those two dramas, as they are indeed tied to each other.

But i have spend the entire sunday rewatching TBOY (my boss will kill me tomorrow, since its past midnight where i am , and i dont know, how i suppose to work properly tomorrow , sighs), thanks to missing a couple of DY eps, coz my computer went down and just was able to repair it.
i dearly love both shows, but i realized by rewatching both shows, that i totally appreciate them for their different approach and also, coz of their different characters.
i am so happy that beili dong jun is no xiao chuhe and vice versa.

i am so glad, that all the characters of the prequel arent just sort of carbon copies or variations of their descendants in the sequel.
they are all full fleshed different persons and yet, they tied to many small and big details in both dramas, its really awesome.

watching both dramas parallel, i can see how great of a job the scriptwriter did.

damn, i love the double for a dark drama, but DY is really a light and bright drama for this summer.

yeeesss! they are so cute, and that drama was soooo torturous! haha jesus hell, they prob suffered even more than Lan Zhan and Wei Ying from untamed...torture and pain porn at its best.

sighs, i just kept wondering, once this is going to finish and aired like in dunno 3 or 4 years, if its not already near my 50th birthday...

damn, this drama is like incorporating all the kinks, and tropes that is written in fanfiction.

jesus, haha these mini web dramas are really a kind of their own. all the stuff, that would not pass in an big budget drama, much less with big name stars and idols, how are they called these days`?
back then, I guess, these kind of stuff would pass as "guilty pleasures" , just as reading harlequin novels, with those painted covers of pirates and noble born ladies, this is just kind of like the Chinese version of harleqin stuff of my youth.
either way, the ML is hot, he looks a bit like very young cheng yi? maybe?

i hope they release all eps soon.

if this drama is after a novel, maybe the author has him in the novel, wearing that veil all the time?

i read somewhere, that some watcher basically said, the ML Baili Dong Jun is a Nepo baby (coz if his powerful and rich grandpa and parents and uncle) , and should grow up, and be mature and should suffer a LOT , otherwise his character is totally unlikeable.

my ass, just because of that silly remark, I hope, Dongjun stays silly, carefree, childish, and totally be a spoiled brat and rich drunk playboy until the end of ep40!

(honestly, sometimes those wild assessment / interpretation of a drama or characters makes me wonder, if we all live in parallel AU universes , that are watching a completely different drama, at the same time. )

i really like every single ML and FL of DY and THEY ARE ALL DASHINGLY GORGOUS and The costumes are SOOOOOOOOOOOO pretty, and the entire show's color scheme and the fight F/X is like WOAHHHH this is the first show after The double, where I have watched every single ep, like already 3 times!

but clearly, I am a tasteless plebeian watcher, who does not even watched much of that endlos suffering hell of a drama called Lost you Forever, neither last year nor this year.

I could watch a 100 eps of DY with its "meaningless plot" and NEVER BE BORED FOR A SECOND!!!!
