Watching KTJ reflect on his deduction in ep 10 makes me think he’s a cop learning how to be a cop.

Different motives. Same madness.

All sorts of crazy were going on in Episode 10. Kang Tae Ju really needs a partner, a legit one he can exchange thoughts and discuss things with, not a rookie yes-man. As a matter of fact, Seo Ji Won would make a good one if only Tae Ju could stop brushing her off. The whole family drama was also unnecessary and annoying.

Omg I hope not 😭 I’ve had enough of that recently. But if that’s really the direction of this drama, I hope it makes sense and maintains the pacing.

Episode 7

That ingrate pushed things too far. I can’t believe how quickly he did a complete 180. Then again, he’s always been like that, ever since the ink recipe incident.

Meanwhile, I honestly thought the ML would be mature, or at least have some charisma, but he turned out to be nothing more than a manchild. Can’t wait for the day he makes his comeback.

OMG I WAS CONCERNED ABOUT THAT TOO. I literally went meeeh ew imagining the ink that we know being tasted. I’m guessing since the Li family produced ink that can help heal wounds, maybe this one’s edible (?)

Shout out to the kid actress playing you g Li Zhen. She was so cute and adorable. She convincingly brought Li Zhen’s intelligent and cheerful personality to life and set a strong start for the character! 👏👏

Zhan Zhao? He was poisoned by the Yemotian poison during his first infiltration to the underground pavilion/courtyard. He was separated from Bai Yu Tang and brought to that dark room. While waiting there alone, he was poisoned by the incense.

Episode 14’s duel was so cool! One fights defensively with the hilt, aiming to subdue, while the other attacks with the blade, aiming to kill.

I feel like Zhan Zhao was just genuinely concerned. He was confused when Ling Long shyly left.
