True! It was a long day and they ended up talking about a heavy topic: Xie Zheng leaving. That triggered everything I guess. Both start to get petty, Xie Zheng gets jealous, Chang Yu gets worried, etc.

I’m not done watching that but so far I love Xie Zheng 😍

Maybe it’s because Chang Yu mentioned that she has prepared clothes and money for Yan Zheng when he leaves. Not to mention, she also said that she has prepared divorce paper and said that they should have closure before he leaves. Hearing that, Yan Zheng is mad, disappointed, and sulky because he thinks why is this girl so cool with him leaving or something. Then they banter and have a petty fight with him finding her a husband and she also talking about his future wife and stuff.

The forceful kiss was.. surprising. I guess both were just too emotional. Benefit of the doubt, maybe Xie Zheng held himself so much that when he knows it’s about to end (as in him leaving Xigu Lane and her leaving that moment, angrily), he just dgaf and went right on and kiss her. I’m glad she slapped him though!

After the first forceful kiss, I think he mentioned Song Yan just because he’s being petty and sulky, not because he’s insecure. I mean, I think he knows that Chang Yu has no feelings towards Song Yan. But, it’s just me giving the writers the benefit of the doubt. I also think bringing up Song Yan is a bit out of character.

Also I guess Chang Yu would’ve agreed to leave with him if they talked nicely. Here, everything felt a bit chaotic for Chang Yu. Him leaving, him saying that either his enemy or him will for sure die, and all that. So many things to process.

All of this is just my opinion though hahaah!

Oh, I’ve heard about that drama but not interested for now hahah. I feel like it’s too heavy so maybe I’ll try later.

I’m currently watching Pursuit of Jade. It’s so good so far!! I find it well-written and the cinematography is also great. I’ve also recently finished Twinkling Watermelon (I’m late, I know) and Honour (don’t really recommend) for Korean dramas.

If you need light dramas to combat the heaviness of Swords into Plowshares, I suggest you watch Mr. Queen, if you haven’t already! Or I may have other light watches but have to look at my list first.
