I can’t believe they did not release that unreleased epilogue/clip of Cha Se Gye’s POV. Man that, was one sweet POV clip. Would’ve been much more impactful in terms of buildup and depth if that were to be released in the official release. 😤🤦♀️

I love the emotional buildup and how the FL decided to “live” than die. But I wish they showed how she adjusted to the modern times. It just felt like she magically adjusted. Also, when did her phone came back to her and how did she learned how to use it. I feel like her trying to learn the ways of the modern world would be a funny part of the show.
I still have faith for our Prime Minister. I feel like he is in cahoots and working together with Yi An. Also, I feel like this drama tends to keep things light so I’m guessing they would rather make the twist that the PM is a good man rather than making him the bad guy.
Appreciation where it’s due, Gong Seung Yeon really owned the role of the Empress Dowager. Not a princess and not a queen, but she delivered the commanding presence, charisma, and aura of an Empress Dowager. 👏

Also, I LOVE Jin Zhao and Chen Yan Yun’s scenes in both episodes. AGH they’re so cute! Daddy Chen finally stepping up the game.
Is it because she’s pretty, bold/daring, and makes him feel alive/human? Is it because he’s caring? I may have missed something from the buildup.
