Smh 🤣😅🥲🤦‍♀️ This show is getting more absurd.

The ML is supposed to be someone who fought on the battlefield, yet he couldn't even strategize and secure evidence properly. And it wasn't even some elaborate plan that failed, but an idiotic, impulsive move made under pressure. What's worse? He got taken down by a bunch of lackeys. 🙃 Like, bro needs cardio training or something.. WDYM he's already on his knees gasping for air after that? 🤦‍♀️

Also, aside from his connections, what is even the point of his character? WDYM this dude barely strategizes, barely makes any meaningful moves toward revenge, and the moment his arc finally seems like it's about to pick up, he gets exposed and thrown in jail. 💀 Then the narrative turns the FL into the hero who has to solve his problems for him. 🫠

And the villain... HE'S SO PATHETIC. I guess it fits his character, but man, those manic expressions annoy me so much. Also, why does he have to be SO tall? 😭🤣 I don't know why, but it just makes him look even more ridiculous and pathetic.

This drama really wants to glorify the FL as this hyper-capable young woman who can overcome any challenge. But it's way too much. They might as well have cut the ML and his entire storyline altogether. 🙄

For those concerned with the cousin label, maybe imagine this..

ML’s mom and FL’s mom have been like sisters since they were young. ML’s mom got pregnant with the ML and the FL’s mom even gave money to ML’s mom when she got pregnant and gave birth. As sister-like-friends, of course it’s not weird they will joke around and be like “hey, in the future our kids will be cousins.” Then, that cousin label kept getting used, and in that context, it’s not weird is it? Why not brother sister? Because the moms label themselves as sisters. Why not our kids can get married later? Maybe because they see each other as sisters instead of best friends and also, maybe they want to leave it all up to the kids and for now just use cousin label. Why even give a cousin label? Because the moms’ bond is maybe super super close they imagine themselves as real sisters.

Just my opinion btw. I’m not familiar with everyone’s culture but honestly to me, it’s not weird and the drama already explained that multiple times even from the first episode.

I wonder.. Xing Wu does not want people at school to know Qing Ye is his “cousin,” is it only because he does not want his bad image to rub off on her or also because he does not want to be known as “cousins” with her.. 🤭🥹💕

For this drama, I have to watch it ongoing. At most maybe hold for two days to binge four episodes at once. The moment I put this one on-hold (until all episodes are uploaded), I will immediately lose interest. 😅

TBC is one pathetic guy 🥲😅

They really need to pick up the pace and add more depth to some arcs.

Geez the ML’s arc is going REALLY slow and the revenge attempts are so little. They’re basically waiting for the Tian family to slip on their own.

I wonder if Li Zhen and Luo Wen Qian/Qi Jiu get married, will she marry into his family or will he marry into her family..

The title of this drama is “The Heir” so I thought it’s about Li Zhen being heir of the Li family. So I’m guessing the heir for Li family will be her cousin, while Li Zhen will marry into Luo Wen Qian’s family to carry on the Luo family?
