This is the page from the writer .... Anyone watched any of these shows ??? Any good ?https://asianwiki.com/Lee_Do-Hyun_(screenwriter)
I'm (re)watching Secrets and Lies which is good right now. Villain FL. I heard that Family Secrets is great too. And Witch's Game is another good one (I dropped it, but I do plan on rewatching it too.)

Why don't they just kill off Ju-Won at this point? Yeon-Hee trying to kill her then just not doing it + the constant kidnappings are getting so old!

Title Dear X
Funny how it's only a problem with female characters... lol
Gender bias definitely plays a small role in it though. People would 100% let some of Ah-Jin's actions slide (romanticizing/minimizing) if she were a guy and I know that lol. Or feel pity for her... but overall, she's not meant to be sympathetic, anyways. Just cold-blooded and ruthless. Like Ju Da-Hae from Queen of Ambition.

Like I said, I don't think it's an issue that people support her since she's fictional, and she's the protagonist (+ a villain, Ć  la Light Yagami or Macbeth), so it's up to the audience to determine how *they* feel about her. Justifying her actions might be a bit of a stretch though...

I put this drama on hold because I got busy, but I’m curious to know your general thoughts about this daily.…
It's definitely worth it! There's plot twists in every episode, the FL is complex (anti-heroine/villainous), and all the characters are morally grey and complicated somehow. Plus the rich folks here actually feel rich, which is something I personally like. Also, the cliffhangers are really good too, they make you anticipate what's coming next.

Glad I'm not the only one who dislikes Ha-Neul lol
Seo Jun-Young is a great actor for sure! Plus he and Eun-Jung had at least *some* chemistry.

Glad I'm not the only one who dislikes Ha-Neul lol
Do-Yun and Jae-In had an enemies-to-lovers relationship, so his development made quite some sense, plus I definitely rooted for them because they had an established/interesting connection. This does not exist between 2nd ML Ha-Neul and the FL Jung-Won.

Is JW greedy as many suggest? Is she really benefiting/enjoying being the DIL of a rich family? I really don’t…
Two things can be true at once. She can be ambitious (she absolutely is) and she wants revenge.

Nice! Hope you find more good ones soon. My first one was Unknown Woman back in 2017...

Title Queen of Ambition Spoiler
Contrary to what most commenters seem to think to me Joo Da-hae was not a compelling or interesting character…
This was definitely one of my minor issues, but you could see that she definitely had some level of regret at times. It was insatiable ambition too. Both of them mixed and created this crazy thirst for greed. Ultimately, she's a psychopath.

For example:
Baek Do-Hun in the car bombing. I think she genuinely felt sorry for it and possibly, some part of her truly loved him. But she was blinded by the money.
Ha Eun-Byul's death. Should she have left her alone? Hell no! Was she devastated after seeing her poor daughter die? Definitely. I feel like Eun-Byul was her last tether to humanity, in a way.

I think overall, she just hated being broke. I do think that this is an issue I have with villain FLs usually- they come off as 1-dimensional and without much depth. This is a 2013 drama so I don't expect incredible writing for female characters in particular lol. Anywho, I do wish that they showed Da-Hae's internal conflict more. I also feel like she somewhat jumped into villainy a bit fast, but it was still a gradual unraveling, nonetheless. I like that she was truly evil, in a way, though.

Another villain FL who I think is kinda similar is Shin Hwa-Kyung from Secrets and Lies. This one's a daily drama, but she also has that thirst for greed because of a complex background. Same with Min Hee-Kyung from Red Shoes (abusive relationship/ex-husband), or Moon Jung-In from Snow White's Revenge (groomed and basically pimped out by her older husband. It's a long story lol) Again these are both daily dramas. You make some great points, nonetheless.

Title A Graceful Liar Spoiler
Ep 45 was REALLY good! First of all, kudos to Jung-Won for holding her own against the 2 main villains: Chairman Two-Face and Gangsta Mama. Oh, and Young-Chae. The way Jung-Won knocked that cup outta her hand was hilarious, I had to rewind it twice. šŸ˜‚

One thing I love about Jung-Won is that she's locked in. She ain't letting nobody stop her from getting her revenge, I love it. Also, that kiss between her and Ha-Neul disgusted me... no chemistry between them at all. It looked like she was kissing sandpaper! Speaking of YC, I knew that her seducing Se-Hun wouldn't work... I said it first, and I was right! I also like that SH is sticking by JW no matter what, but I can see him becoming more obsessed with her down the line. Now he went to Gangsta Mama's house...

Did NOT see JW revealing herself as Su-A to Hye-Ra coming. If HR doesn't believe that JW is SA next week, I'm gonna flip out! At this point, she's an idiot! With KB, I'm convinced now more than ever that he's gonna die, especially with that scene on the swings and him telling JW (most of) the truth about why HR never came back to get her. I can't wait to see what happens this week!

What strategy do you suggest for JW to fight back? I feel she does need to lose a bit, since our villainess can't…
It would be messy if things become public with SH/JW & SA. Gunhyang Group's stocks are dropping right now...

I do think SH loves JW, but JW doesn't seem to love him so much. Maybe she'll develop feelings for him someday... right now, she's like, "Yeah, I guess he's okay."

Ha-Neul would be helpful if he stopped acting like a schoolboy and actually got his head in the game. He's incredibly boring at the moment.

That hotel scene with JB, HK, and Sung-Min was WAY too good lol so tense and overdramatic for no reason.

I DID NOT EXPECT THAT ENDING IN EPISODE 86??? OMG
