have you watched this week's episodes (esp. the later ones)? her eyes are super expressive and i think wu jia yi did a great job

i feel like the drama isn't focusing too much on you lian's story as she is the lead and plays a significant role in terms of reconciling kunwu clan and the humans but i agree that the drama needs to focus more on li xuan's backstory!! i think the drama is focusing too much on the second leads romance and im honestly disappointed since they cut it from 60 to 28 episodes, you think they would focus on what's more important smh

i agree about you lian and her master as well as the drama focusing way too much on the second leads romance line but i don't think you lian's character has weakened tbh. plus i would say give them one or two more episodes to see what happens. i assume the plot will pick up with next week's episodes but i am disappointed that they pushed the real plot line to so late on in the drama

i personally don't think it's going downhill. i'm just disappointed that li xuan's true identity hasn't been revealed yet and that the plot isn't moving along much but i'm enjoying the focus on li xuan and you lian xD

agreed! i'm so glad that after two dramas where they weren't the leads, they finally have a drama together as leads <3

agreed!! i saw him in my beluga boyfriend as the lead but that drama was kind of a mess tbh lol. but so glad he's doing so well in DOTSE-- definitely hope he gets another lead role soon :)

i definitely suggest continuing to watch it! it does get a lot better. xu kai's character is actually a lot more complex than what he appears in the first episode. i say give it one or two more episodes to see if you like it then :)
