That's the thing that I just cannot grasp. It would be a different story if they lived together and both had some…
This looks like resentment and not just "not loving someone anymore"... like, Wen seems to have a lot of negative feelings towards Alan.

As for Wen, I home they keep him a messy character and won't try to whitewash his behavior as if he did no wrong. They tried that in Thousand Stars and it annoyed me...

But from what Wen said, they did break up, it's not vague. There is also a question of how long they lived together after breaking up, coz we don't know.

But with how Wen treats Alan and how clear he is about not wanting to get back together, the one bed is weird. Living together is one thing, but one bed is another.

I feel sorry for Alan fighting for a relationship that no longer exists. It must be very confusing for you to…
That's the thing that I just cannot grasp. It would be a different story if they lived together and both had some lingering feelings, so it's hard to move out and move on. But Wen has like... negative feelings towards Alan πŸ˜… The idea they not only live together, but even share bed is wild with how uninterested Wen is.

The opening scene with Heart and Li Ming was so beautiful! Why I did not have such a cute teen romance?
Why is real life not as aesthetic? 🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣

Wen's life is such a mess. Ma dude, nothing good can come out with living with your ex, especially if you still share the bed πŸ˜…

How much time passed? Didn't that bish just find out she is pregnant? But her belly already so big? πŸ™ƒ

"When you decide something for him, you think he's too young. But when you expect him to do something, you think he's old enough." The problem for many parents: the kids are old enough to take more and more responsibilities, but not old enough to have freedom of making their own choices.

So yeah, now the age annoys me even more. Sure, let's ignore how Earth does not look 40 at all. Let's say he looks hella young and good for his age. But then Mix's character also looks FAR TOO FUCKING YOUNG to pass as 30 🀣 Then it's not just a case of one character looking younger than his age, it's just poor casting Β―\_(ツ)_/Β― Like, the show is supposed to be more mature and on more realistic side, but this casting is so ridiculous for the ages of the characters it's hard for me to take anything seriously 🀑

Jim is kind of interested, but nothing too crazy - sure hot nice younger dude, good shit. But Wen is just fascinated and so into Jim it's painful.

First is soooo attractive. He reminds me of someone, but i cannot grasp who... damn, this is annoying.
SBHJSFGSDJKF OMG NOW I REMEMBER LOL He could be Luo Yi Zhou's older brother!

There is one thing that this show does extremely well - exploring different types of romantic love.
We have the cute and fully first love between Heart nad Li Ming.
We have a fading relationship between Wen and Alan, where one already moved on, and the other still tries to save the relationship.
We have one sided love between Gaipa and Jim.
And we have a relationship that is initially based on physical attraction that builds into something more between Jim and Wen.
And the happy soon to be family Saleng and Praew.
Not to mention all the other kinds of love showed, that are nor romantic in nature.

HAHAHAHA WHEN JIM JUST STOOD THERE WHEN SHIT WAS GOING DOWN, BUT THEN ALAN TALKED SHIT ABOUT HIS CHINCKEN AND HE STARTED TO THROW HANDS HAHAHAHAHA

THE WAY HE YANKED THAT FUCKING TIE OMG FIRST IS πŸ”₯
also that ketchup on Wen's forehead with no wound 🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣

The way the trailer is put together is so funny. Coz Wen screams: "I DON'T LOVE YOU ANYMORE" and Alan goes "THAT'S A SHITTY EXCUSE" bitch, there is no better excuse to break up 🀑🀑🀑🀑 Like this might be two separate conversations, but putting them together is gold hahaha

Imagine this but with dude from 180 degrees! (Not that I don't love Earth here but just having someone actually…
They don't want old actors, because the majority of the target audience is young, and they want to see young hot dudes 🀣 Preferably the same pairing over and over and over and over again Β―\_(ツ)_/Β―
Which is kind of sad. I don't they even tried to look for older actor for this role.

Well, I'm Uncle Jim's age and let me tell you, that I'm here for Earth's looks in this series! (I don't know what…
I loved to see BL stories about actual adults, but when they are acted by people a lot younger than the actual characters it has this fake feeling to it. Like... I saw him play someone in their late 20' a year ago, and now you want to tell me he is also a believable 40? πŸ˜…Casting like that just stops me from fully enjoying shows.

Nothing will top China in that aspect tho, once I started a show where 40 years old actress as suppose to be like 15 years old teen πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ€£

I know, I'm almost 30 and people keep asking me for my ID when I want to buy alcohol πŸ˜…
I get that people can look a lot younger than their age, the issue is - usually when someone looks this young for their age, that is the fact that is being talked about, not how old the person actually is. But them bringing it up all the time seems just like a poor attempt to convince me he actually looks his age πŸ˜…

So I've been asking around friends how old the characters are supposed to be, because I get pissed off every time they start joking about Jim's age (I'm Earth's age). But then everyone said he is almost 40 and I lost it, what a clownery 🀑Earth just does not look the age at all. Them emphasizing the age gap that does not really exist in real life is just so funny, it takes me out of the story completely. Also, to make it truly convey how dumb it is: in the show Earth is supposed to be 20 years older than Fourth 🀣🀣🀣🀣

Putting that and sighing aside, I like it a lot. Especially Heart and Li Ming's story. I also cannot wait for Alan to mess shit up - First is so attractive πŸ‘πŸ»

Who was the terrorist who complained about the sighing? I hadn't noticed before, and now I can't NOT hear it,…
once i noticed the sighing watching yesterday, I almost closed my laptop. Like... it was so excessive - they started or ended half of their lines like that 🀣

An easygoing and direct review, exactly what’s needed with a show as heavy and layered as this. I too blow steam…
Avenuex is amazing. Cannot wait for the live stream about sci-fi in c-dramas and movies
She actually made me want to rewatch three body right away, to pay attention to a few things she mentioned.

As for the review, writing it was pain in the ass - how to writing how amazing the show is without any spoilers, when literally everything I say about it seems like a spoiler? 🀣

We all have different tastes and like different things, it's fine. For me this was top notch entertainment, but I can totally see how it could be too slow and even boring for someone else.

Is it not to improve his skills? < i mean... he is here to survive in the industry, not really for the training…
I honestly did not think about it yet. I have some trainees that caught my attention, I knew some from other shows too. But based on just these two episodes, it's impossible for me to pick top 9 because I honestly don't know the skills and potential they have.

For now there is only one trainee that I truly think needs to have a spot in top9 and debut:
Keita - preferably as leader, because he is one of the most all rounder ones, he is relatively young, but also have years of experience so he can connect to younger members and get the respect from older one, and he already showed some leadership skills and potential. There is literally no downfall from him being part of the group.

I'm pissed that they are doing their best to show Hui in bad light. His strength is his singing and they literally…
Like, give them a week to remember the choreo, and then compare the end result from the ones that learn fast and slower. Because if you stress out about forgetting the moves, obviously you won't give 100% of what you are capable of. But when you are sure you know the moves by heart, you can dedicate all the focus on the presentation, compared to trying to remember what next.

We can stop if you find it not productive. Just want to say that you are the one that mentioned Hui in your initial comment, that's the only reason I used him as my example. There are other more fitting example: Sung Hanbin - failed to debut, but still managed to gain a lot of experience and polish his skills by becoming backup dancer.

It was one comment in the sea of compliments... All I'm saying is, your comment was not about hyping Ji Woong, but disagreeing with another user. You could explain why you think Ji Woong is good and improving, without linking it to a specific comment below, especially since you already replied to them.

As for Hui... I mean... Ji Woong is practically his senior in kpop, since he debuted one month before Hui did πŸ˜… People have valid high expectations towards Ji Woong because he was in the industry for 7 years, and if we add the training time before his comeback, by now he should be as close to all-rounder or at least ace in one of the skills...

What I'm saying is, it's fair to be more critical about trainees who already debuted, especially the ones who debuted years ago in terms of their skills. I'm a massive fan of Hui, he is ace in singing and producing, but it's also true that his dancing is good, but not great and nowhere near the trainees that specialize in dancing. And realistically speaking I don't think he can improve that much in this show, if he did not in past 7 years + training period. It's more about finding his footing, and knowing how to cover up the areas he lacks in with the ones he is skilled in.

Hyuna and Dawn are to blame for Pentagon being where they are. That dating scandal ruined Pentagon. Their doing…
That's painfully simplistic way of thinking about this issue. Maybe I would agreed if Pentagon was the only group with failed management and marketing in Cube, but it's not.

Cube completely suck at dealing with controversies and they cannot even keep their lies straight lol Loosing a member because of the controversy was never THE reason any group disbanded, it was the failed reaction from the company after. I mean, look at kpop past 2 years, a lot of groups are losing members left and right, and the companies just work around it and tries to do whatever they can to deal with it. While Cube just gave up.

Cube is to be blamed for what happened. Pentagon had comeback on September 10 in which Dawn was already excluded from. The confirmation of the relationship happened on September 13. What it tells me? They like idiots decided to make the comeback happen before they dealt with the conflict between the company and two artists, so the comeback was planned without Dawn from the start.

The conflict on how to deal with the dating must have been there for some time for them to plan comeback without Dawn. they decided to keep going and make the comeback happen before ending the conflict - be it with ending the contract with Dawn and Hyuna, or coming up with differently conclusion. I don't know... they just went: whatever happens happens, and hoped for the best lol

I didn't watch the girls version but I wud assume as the show goes on, the whole global vs korea thing will be…
then what is even the point in putting them against each other in the first place, when by the end it's meaningless? All these shows are complete copies of each other with small tweaks Β―\_(ツ)_/Β― separating trainees will not fool anyone 🀣
