Lol. I stopped at ep 27 and waiting patiently till the mess is clearing and the road to happiness clearer.
I feel like we won’t be completely stress-free until the final episode. Even after the whole harem ordeal is over, they still have to deal with Nanwu, the Saintess, and everything else—yet another headache, of course. 😂

I haven’t personally rated the drama as a whole, though I have rated the episodes I’ve watched— yet, I can’t…
Yep, true. While they might hesitate to watch because they don’t want to waste their time, it still feels a bit rigid. They could be missing out on stories that might resonate personally, even if they’re not critically acclaimed. Besides, the experience of watching something should be about curiosity and taste, not just numbers.

I caved and watched the previews for episodes 35 and 36, and I can say with absolute conviction—the Princess Royal is silly as hell. You’d think she would’ve learned something from what happened to her daughter, but nope… she’s even more blinded now by insecurity, jealousy, and a mess of sheer stupidity all rolled into one. 😭

I haven’t personally rated the drama as a whole, though I have rated the episodes I’ve watched— yet, I can’t help but sigh when people choose to watch something solely based on its rating. 😔 Yes, ratings can be helpful, but they’re often shaped by trends, hype, and personal biases.

I’m not sure what exactly you expect her to do to protect herself from that creep. Carry a weapon in her bag…
If you’re going to take offense at every word other people say, then sure, that suggestion would suit you perfectly.

When did I ever say there was nothing she could do? I was asking what exactly you expect her to do, considering she’s /that/ kind of person. From the very first episode, how many times have we seen her confide in anyone about her problems? I wasn’t really talking about common sense or anything like that—just her as a character.

I’m not sure what exactly you expect her to do to protect herself from that creep. Carry a weapon in her bag at all times?

Seems like the person who called Yifan at the hotel and secretly took pictures of her was her aunt’s brother? 🙃

I’d definitely recommend watching Dark Night and Dawn. I wasn’t really a fan of Republican-era dramas before,…
Aside from DNAD, I’d recommend Arsenal Military Academy. Some may find it intimidating at first glance because of the episode count (48—yeah, we’re not joking here🙊), but it’s so fun, so heartwarming, and an all-around complete package. Plus, it’s about a genre-switching military student. Another one I watched recently is Back for You. It’s more of a time-travel, comic-like drama set in a Republican backdrop, and this one only has 12 episodes!

I’d definitely recommend watching Dark Night and Dawn. I wasn’t really a fan of Republican-era dramas before, but DNAD pulled me in, and now I’m diving deeper into that genre. 😬

I was planning to watch this, but now I'm not sure. 😒 Sad endings really get to me.
If you survived the last season of Game of Thrones, you’ll get through this too. 😬 (Though I wouldn’t recommend using logic while watching this one.)

This is MDL, not Weibo. Keep your Weibo shits on Weibo. Speaking of being uneducated—you might want to grab a mirror and take a good look at yourself first.

Yep, you’re absolutely right. It’s unfortunate that some people still think that just because their fav is the main lead, all the spotlight should be on them and no one else. As if the supporting cast were just standing around like statues, contributing nothing to the drama.

Are you seriously not embarrassed saying something like this on public space? If I were you, I’d delete my account immediately—because, it’s basic knowledge that most fans these days have their own Weibo and other Chinese social media accounts. Some of them even speak the language. For fuck’s sake, how old are you even... lmfao

Oh, so you know better than all of us because you live in China and you're one of the netizens? Awwwwww, good for you. Go on then with your rumbling bumbling nonsense and embarrass yourself even more on the internet. 😊

You’re wasting your breath arguing with someone who's practically known for their nonsense. Lol. The moment they claimed the drama’s official Douyin account never posted any videos of the male lead, you knew they were talking complete nonsense. They're just jobless homophobes bitter that Ben and Saxin stole the spotlight from the main couple. 😃

The ending is very sad, even sadder than in the novel. It seems that the writers treated the escape as a symbol…
Are you sure it’s sadder than the novel? 😂 Because his suffering in the novel was far worse—the drama actually softened it due to censorship.

They are Xu Kai and Tian Xiwei in Moonlit Reunion. The drama rumored to broadcast in June 😄

I loved how CZY acted. Do you think they are glowing because they both died. Sorry I don’t understand
Yep, I think they were both ridiculously glowing like ghosts because they died—that’s how it ended in the novel. 😂 CZY’s acting was brilliant, but even that couldn’t save this mess.
