For those who’ve rated episodes 7 and beyond, where exactly are you watching the rest? I can’t believe iQIYI playing favorites and letting you guys watch before everyone else 🙃🙃
mmmh why is FL crying when she thought he was dating her collegue, they have known each other for like 2 sec.…
If she had been portrayed as a crybaby from the start, it would’ve made more sense. Even though the ML did see her cry several times before, that scene at the hotpot restaurant was just hilarious 😂

Probably a pretty severe case of love at first sight for the female lead. Though yeah, I personally think it would’ve been better to see her upset about him having a girlfriend rather than crying like she did. Kinda funny. 😂
I thought the city was bombed on episode 1 and that it was destroyed but now they have markets and sweet life.…
The part of the city that was bombed was likely just a small area, maybe a district, and not the entire city. I’ve never experienced anything like that in real life, but I imagine the rest of the city has to keep going despite the terror. In the book, there are also several more attacks to come.
“Each episode was a cliffhanger” HAHAHAHA, what kind of cliffhanger do you expect after watching just two episodes? Next time, maybe hold off on writing a negative review for a drama that just aired less than 24 hours ago.
Take a deep breath—no one’s chasing you or even asking you to change your mind. However, your arguments are all over the place, and I can’t resist calling it out. What a child. Bleeee.
a quick question ....How is the novel ,a happy or a sad ending????
The ending of the book was a mix of both. I think it’s kind of realistic because as the story progresses, it gets heavier and darker, eventually focusing on survivor’s guilt and PTSD.
Have you watched all the 6 episodes? If you did can you please twll me of shan bei likes the male lead
Shen Bei likes the male lead, but I think it’s mostly physical attraction since she doesn’t really know him—at least not beyond his name and occupation. If I remember correctly from the book, Shen Bei won’t play a big role in the story, as the focus isn’t on a love triangle.
That would be lovely if I could make money out of this, but nope. And as much as I wish it were that simple to be the happiest person, like you said. But well maybe I’ll cut you some slack—because apparently: - You dropped the drama but said you’d watch it again. (Sounds pretty contradictory—or maybe you just don’t know the difference.) - You just recently got into Chinese dramas, which is great, but maybe dial down the audacity to trash a show when you’re practically new here. - You mentioned high expectations but can’t even name one. Too bad. Rubbish.
You being a Marvel fan has nothing to do with this—cause comparing a Chinese drama to a Marvel movie isn’t even fair to begin with. If you claim to have high expectations, then what exactly are they? Even if you’ve read the book, the drama has stayed faithful to the original story up to episode six. Yet, you watched only two episodes and called it a disappointment. There’s a fine line really between a fair review and just saying, “I had high expectations, but now I’m disappointed.” 👾
But anyway, it’s very telling how your reviews are pretty much rubbish cause you said you don’t like Gen-Z and guess how did you rate it? Hilariously, a 10.
While everyone is free to voice their opinions (as long as they’re not being outright rude), I think it’s…
I have no idea where they pulled all those paragraphs from when I’d bet they haven’t even watched a minute of the drama. Try asking about the plot so far—let’s see how much they really know 🙊
Inhales, exhales—what do you know about directing when you’re not even a director? And not to mention, your only experience is watching dramas of your fav. The bar’s pretty low, I see.
I only know of Liang Jie because of a different drama that I have seen of her (Side Story of Fox Volant) and she…
While everyone is free to voice their opinions (as long as they’re not being outright rude), I think it’s only fair to dig deeper into a drama before claiming an actor doesn’t suit the role. Just a little information in case you weren’t aware—this story is based on a book, and believe it or not, when Zheyuan was first cast as the male lead, even the book fans weren’t exactly thrilled. However, that narrative eventually shifted once he proved he could bring Li Zan to life. Have you read the book, by the way? Because Li Zan was never described as some overly muscular guy. If you paid attention, it was stated from the very beginning that he’s a volunteer, not a soldier like Benjamin or Jiang Lin, whose physiques are naturally more built.
I personally have more tolerance for villains who are naturally evil—like, it’s just who they are (re: Zhen Yu the snake)—and they don’t even bother pretending otherwise. That’s so much easier to deal with than someone like the old Lanling Leader, acting all righteous while being rotten to the core with his greed and insecurities. I hope he gets the most brutal ending possible. 😃
The peak stupidity of the year goes to Zhen Yu in ep26. Was his mind so clouded with deranged schemes that he actually lost the capability to think? I can’t stop laughing 😭
