Is Sa Xin dead in the preview?! I saw Ben crying holding the yellow star.
I remember him getting injured pretty badly in the novel, but not dying. However, since the drama has made some changes, all we can do now is wait—and hope for the best. 😣
Li Zan and Benjamin’s interaction in episode 10 was pretty cute, but the drama completely robbed us of what could have been a great moment—their one-on-one sparring match on the day they first met. That scene was such an interesting part of the novel, and it’s a shame we didn’t get to see it play out on screen. 😭
My iQIYI sucks, I can only watch until episode 10 so far. Where did you watch the rest of the episode, if may I ask? 🙃 You claimed to have watched until episode 38, so how do you get the special access to the rest of the episode? Or are you an insider or something? ☺️
I just wrote a review on the things what I watched and I didn’t do anything about crossing the personal boundaries…
Anyway, my iQIYI sucks, only 10 eps available for now. Where did you watch the rest, may I ask? You claimed to have watched all 38 episodes. Or are you an insider to have the special access? ☺️
After the return-to-home-country arc, she’s supposed to have much less screen time, thankfully.
I feel like he was a little too nice to do that.
Maybe I’m remembering it wrong, but in the book, I don’t think he ever directly told SFL that the feelings weren’t mutual. But I think I’ll need to check the book again to be sure. 🤣
Please, feel free to leave your thoughts more often! I really enjoy reading comments that actually engage with…
Science was never my strong suit, but for now, I’ll just go with what Google says and consider it the truth hahahaha
She definitely seems to forget everything when she’s around him. And while I kind of agree with others who say she comes off as a bit too lovestruck, I can also understand where she’s coming from. I mean, he literally saved her from an explosion. If that happened to me, I’d probably feel a little (or maybe a lot) attached to him, too. 🤣
Hi. I've watched two episodes. Really mixed feelings. Personally for me it's unfair to rate a drama 2 episodes…
If some people here shared the same mindset as you, this page would definitely be a much more comfortable space.
Whatever you feel is totally valid, and I really appreciate how you expressed it so thoughtfully. From episode 3 onwards, I’d agree it gets a bit draggy (mainly in certain scenes), but it picks up, especially after both leads return to their home country and lose contact for a few months.

I can totally relate! I come here whenever I notice something unusual or something I can’t quite understand, so I don’t jump to conclusions about the drama before trying to see it from a different point of view.
I also saw your other comment about the mirage, and honestly, I’m just as clueless. I really hope we get a solid answer soon! Cause from what Google says about mirages, especially regarding that floating tree, it sounds like it’s called a superior mirage. The light rays passing through layers of different temperatures can bend downwards, making the tree appear to float above its actual position—maybe even above the hill itself or at an odd angle. (Yeah nvm, still clueless. 😭)
Thank you for confirming the language used! I’ve seen a few comments asking about it, but so far, no one seemed…
Right, thank you! I think I remember Song Ran mentioning it, though I can’t recall which episode exactly. Well, they’ve probably all mentioned it at some point, but I just caught it once 😂
they don’t actually get together right away. After an incident, they lost contact—Song Ran returns to China…
Unfortunately, he did... but not while on duty or saving someone else. He endured his pain for years, and eventually, he reached a breaking point he couldn’t come back from. 😣
Ep 6 - Detour to Haru: I have to constantly remind myself that this is a romance drama. I mean loved the whole…
Please, feel free to leave your thoughts more often! I really enjoy reading comments that actually engage with the drama and spark meaningful discussion. It shows you’re truly invested in the story, not just dumping long-winded nonsense with no real substance. 😬😬

There’s always something new to learn every day—thank you! As for the language part (mainly due to my lack of knowledge), I initially thought it was a made-up language like High Valyrian from Game of Thrones. 😭 That silly idea really came from the constant disclaimers at the beginning of the drama.

Yeah.. despite all the suffering and pain, they got married and had two kids—that’s how the last chapter ended. But the epilogue—that was a gut punch. Also it was framed as a book written by their child.
