very weak for a rom-com, netflix slop
very boring but not surprised after looking at the synopsis. wanted to check it out because of the male cast but yeah, just a total romance slop with all the cliches, romanticising ai and absolutely no plot (you could squish it into a 30min episode). fl acting is horrid at moments and at other moments she's emotionless. dropped after 3,5epWas this review helpful to you?

the classic korean romance and enemies to love
The theme of meeting a boyfriend through an app caught my attention, but the romance between the two characters is a classic Korean romance... I love the classic, FL unsure if she really likes ML, she rejects him, but he doesn't give up.It's a good drama, the part showing FL's story with her ex-boyfriend moved me, I wasn't expecting it!
The main actor acted according to the character, cold and distant at times, and has "enemies to love" which I love, it had been a while since I watched a good "enemies to love" drama.
Why wouldn't I watch it again? It's very rare for me to rewatch K-dramas, so once is enough.

you can pick any episodes to rewatch
At first I have my doubts how they'll make the story goes since it's about virtual dating. But halfway through, Mirae is having doubts with love and almost shut herself from her true feelings just so she won't get hurt again. It tells how what it takes between reality and fantasy is in our own decision. Mirae could've keep going to Gyeongil the perfect version of man he loves, but she chose Kyungnam when they start to communicate their feelings.I love how the story did not drag their 'silent treatment' and instead of having a big fight, he tries to understand her and she tries to accept him even when she's scared to commit to love again. Even I am rooting for Gyeongil than Kyungnam because he is the more open and fun guy, and there's no worry of him shutting himself away from her (except if she stops paying subscription lol).
Mirae is this super cute and clingy girlfriend despite being strong and stubborn at work. The contrast is really fun to watch. Funnily, none of their colleagues believe they are dating, probably would have lost their mind if they see how cute Mirae is with her bf. Kyungnam is mature and calm man, he notices the littlest things about Mirae. And cutely doing things that she loves for her.
I'd rewatch this again whenever I feel like having a giddy feeling, any episode of this series can do the deal. But if you want to focus on Mirae-Kyungnam love story, you can rewatch the second half onwards. I hope there'll be 2nd season of them but then again, it wouldn't be Boyfriend On Demand unless they broke up.

!! A drama to break free from stress !!
Before I watched, I was worried that what if it becomes flat with just famous actors’ cameo because I didn't like the drama like 7 first kisses. But luckily it was not. I like the way Female Lead always turned back to reality and the plot which makes her turn to it.I really like how they portrayed a love story between the leads. Some scenes are just simple but romantic. I especially enjoyed the confession scene. Even thought the story is somehow fantasize about AI, I really like they did not take it too far. Because some drama took it too far and include so much plots which they end up badly.
I have seen many comments about Female Lead’s acting. But the actress did an amazing job and I feel this character is exactly for her. But there are also some weakness but I can pass. I enjoied the Male Lead's character here. The Male Lead did a great job to portray his character.
I would say this is a good drama to watch in 2026 compared to other dramas we got so far in similar genere. It might have weakness but those are just minors.

Trust Me: Keep Watching! 100% chemistry
Boyfriend on Demand really surprised me. I started it with high expectations, but the first three episodes honestly made me feel like I had misplaced my hopes. I didn’t enjoy them much, they felt a bit tiring, and at one point I thought about dropping the drama. But then came the switch. Starting from episode 4, it kept getting better and better, and the final episodes completely won me over. I loved the cast. The drama includes many well-known actors that I already appreciate, and the two leads are actors I like individually, but together they completely stole my heart. Their chemistry was amazing, and I adored all their sweet scenes full of little kisses and cuddles.
What impressed me the most is how something that initially felt like a poorly executed plot turned into such an enjoyable and even fun rom-com by the end.
My advice: don’t get discouraged by the mixed opinions or the very first episodes, keep watching. You might end up loving it and discovering a really great rom-com.

I would have liked more.I like the two boys. They are both so cute and good-looking.
The ending gave me butterflies.

Hating to hate
Some people here have some unbiased opinions on the show, but most people here are just trying to jump on the idol actress hate bandwagon which is really sad. This drama is light hearted, fun and unserious, but y’all want Oscar acting and and insane performances. This drama wasn’t made for that and yes rom coms can be serious but this one isn’t about that. The whole atmosphere is fun and I think all the actors did a great job. Jisoo is obviously the most talked about but i genuinely don’t see how her acting is bad ??? And don’t get me wrong im not saying she is the best actress ever but is she bad ? No! I feel like y’all should give this a go, and see for yourself if you like it or not. Don’t let the haters make you think this is bad in any way.Was this review helpful to you?
Boyfriend on Demand: When Virtual Romance Meets Reality
This is my humble review of the drama Boyfriend on Demand. In short, I liked it. But I will elaborate a bit.The drama introduces a problem in our modern society. People spend so much time working that only a few hours are left for their own enjoyment. Many people like dating, getting into relationships and falling in love but because their time is precious, they become more and more afraid of commitment. What if they waste their time on the wrong person? What if they never find their soulmate?
Because of this, there has been a rise in romance simulation games. In those games, you can date multiple people without being afraid that something will go wrong or that you will get hurt. The drama handled this aspect very beautifully. It didn’t judge people for playing these kinds of “superficial” games but instead explored the reasons behind them.
It also showed how easily people can fall in love with fictional characters—from games, dramas, idols, or anime—but also how important it is to stay connected with reality.
The only thing I didn’t really like was how little screen time the male lead had in the first half and how jumpy the female lead became whenever she was embarrassed. Sometimes that made me cringe a bit. I can’t guarantee that this drama is a masterpiece, but it is a good binge-watch. It’s enjoyable, light, and might even make you think about the messages it tries to convey to the audience.

Toxic love
Okay, i watched his drama without any knowledge of Chinese short drama. Ma Mingyu was perfect cast of scumbag ML. He just horny man and repeatedly rapes FL and manipulated FL feeling. I don't like FL characterization in here, she is really damsel in distress and no fighting spirit. I feels man really write this kind of script. This kind of relationship can look "romantic" on screen, but if you encounter this in real life, just run for your life. Only watch for once and you need memory erasure from watching this. Was this review helpful to you?

A fantastic watch
What a show! I loved this show so much. I equally loved both leads and thought they were really a perfect match. I hate shows where the male lead has nothing going on in his life except coming from a rich family and not being able to control his emotions. Thankfully, this is nothing close to that. I feared since a very big plot of the show was based on a misunderstanding, that the show would drag and dwell on this or worse, we would have a cruel ML who goes out of his way to make the FL suffer. He did have a few petty moments where he was trying to make the FL 'remember him'- but they are few and not unnecessarily cruel. He quits as soon as he sees that plan is going nowhere and is instead hurting the FL. And, beside himself, even when he sees her in such a poor light, he starts pursuing her. Pursuing her sincerely. It was hard not to swoon, even for me as a watcher. The FL is a ray of sunshine- given she has been raised spoiled and rich, she is surprusingly level-headed and even when she goes thru a year or so of emotional turmoil in Campus, she is able to steady herself, realize quickly what was happening and realign. I think the most important character portrayal was when her classmate thought she had stolen her internship spot and she threatened to call and have the company rescind the offer. While she knows she is actually in a position that she could do that, she cannot bring herself to make the call. She understands her privilege but never takes advantage of it. Despite her saga with Zhuang Xu, she remains sure of herself and just removes herself from his life despite her lingering feelings. Class act all thru. Besides the leads, Jiang Rui is definitely my favourite character, he is so well written and his delivery at such a young age is on point. Worth the watch and definitely has a high rewatch value. Gu Man really is the bombWas this review helpful to you?
Interesting Filipino remake of the K-drama
PLOT: Identical to the original, but with some adaptations (no amnesia from ML2, but a strong sense of guilt, different relationships in FL's family , etc.).+++ The actors are a bit old for the roles, but after the initial surprise, you get used to it. Paulo Avelino gives a convincing performance as ML, with expressions quite similar to Park Seo Joon, and Kim Chiu has the same designer (costumes, hair) as the original Sec. Kim.
BUT:
Some adaptations are poorly executed:
### The character of the doctor sister is overly dramatic, hyper-protective, and aggressive. Annoying!
### The passionate night of love in the original drama is curiously lacking in passion here :( Similarly, the marriage proposal scene wasn't as moving.
### The job offer abroad, the struggles of wedding preparations, etc. This entire narrative arc is excessive...
=> Very good remake (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

=> Très bon remake (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

I loved this series so much, I laughed I cried I felt all the feelingsI had always been meaning to watch a PondPhuwin series but never got around to it so this was my first one and I’m now so obsessed with them it’s consuming me
Not only are they great actors but they have such strong chemistry you can feel it through the screen
The rest of the cast were amazing and everyone really stepped up to the plate in this series
My only negative is that once the kids became involved in the story I was not interested and it just felt messy and rushed to include them and for them to be parents suddenly I was like can we have some time with the couple first? I think it would of made more sense for Thee to have helped get the kids adopted together rather him adopt them himself but I’m willing to overlook that because it’s a flawless show minus that

I Expected a Romcom Popcorn Flix and that's what I got.
It's a typical Romcom, nothing special. The VR(AI like Dating sim) is definitely a timely topic. I mean South Korea and Japan birth rate is all time low and this is one of the many reason( If you dont have much money and you dont want to get stressed out then u do this.
For example Dating Sims, Visual Novels, even the gaaaccha ones. Wether you like men or women.
As for the story its simple and relatable.
Its something I could watch on the get go as theres not much thinking to do.
POPCORN ROMCOM FLIX. 🍿
Biased opinion from a romcom lover like me.
Watched all the Harem or Romance Anime. Prob one of the reason I liked this.

yall should just say you hate bp atp
Jisoo this, jisoo that, jisoo acting this, Jisoo acting that, dararararaaaaahhh like this drama was beautiful but the hate in your damn hearts won’t allow yall to admit it.
I mean how long is this hate going to be dragged on and she literally isn’t taking anybody’s spotlight it’s JISOO, the least popular, least problematic, least everything.
Sometimes I wonder if I had watched snowdrop knowing that it was Jisoo would havd also thought that it was horrible like I really can’t believe I went on for 4years without knowing.
