Temu version Khemjira?
If you're expecting a drama like Khemjira, you will be sadly disappointed with this one. The story is inconsistent to say the least, there were plenty of times I had no idea what was going on. I couldn't even give you a summary if you asked for it.The first 2 eps. were promising. I liked the tarot card psychic thing combined with the podcast. Unfortunately it goes downhill from there.
The most disappointing is that all elements to make a good show are present. A pet ghost, a love triangle, a jealous bff, a handsome rich suitor, who is a natural protector, a twin shaman, ghosts, possession, etcetera. None of these are properly fleshed out and remain merely a potential.
The acting is bad overall. The dialogue only half done, scenes are cut off before we get to the point. We don't get any backstory from anyone, and some plotpoints are never followed up on.
Anything good? Hmm maybe the visuals? The music isn't bad. The main romance has a good build-up. That's it. I don't think i'll rewatch or recommend. And then they even gave us a post-credit scene, that could suggest we will be tortured with ehm treated to an S2??

Love this thriller drama
Flowers to Kim You Jung for this role!I couldnt wait to binge watch this. Oh how Baek A Jin used everyone around her and they call just fell for her charm.
Did anyone else realize that Kim Jae O didnt see how he was trapped by A Jin image being an "angel"? Like the things he was hearing, he didnt believe them and all he wanted to do was to "PROTECT HER" to the end and nothing else mattered.
To me, she used Yun Jun Seo emotionally. Like she knew how to always run to him because of the LOVE he has for her, he would do anything despite knowing her ways. Ummm, too bad, she didn't love him back even to the end because he was so tired of her sh*t and it showed.
The moment she got married, I was like okay she found her match, someone who is also crazy but A Jin couldnt be controlled.
Fast forward, with her at the end, I wish her story ended with Yun Jun Seo but the writers had other plans.
Overall, it was a great thriller drama and I enjoyed each episode. Flowers to each character! They played their role well.

Should be watched by those who are either currently in or want to be in a relationship, because ---
It asks a fundamental question --- what is happiness (in the context of a relationship)? In its 36 minute run-time, it invites you to consider what aspects of a relationship make you happy, whether you put more value on what is (living in the moment) or what is to come (building the future). The movie is clearly about two people who love each other, so it begs a second question --- why do two people who love each other end up the way that Inho and Yoonju did? I might be overly optimistic, but I feel like the perspective that this show provides might just save a few relationships out there...
Story: Not very complex (so you can leave your thinking hat in the closet), but still very engaging.
Acting: I've watched many (if not all) of Kim Seong Hyuk's dramas. While I may not necessarily like some of those shows (one in particular was painful to watch, but it's not listed in MDL or even in Seong Hyuk's filmography, so if the universe is kind, no one else will have to suffer the way I did), I invariably like the work that Seong Hyuk delivered. Both he and the female lead (unnamed in the cast list) did a good job here of shifting gears when the script called for it.
Music: As in most (if not all) Korean dramas, the music served to underscore the emotions behind every scene. One even made it to my playlist. đ
Rewatch Value: This would depend on what's important to you. It's 36 minutes long. If you're looking for cathartic release, this would be a great option --- you won't be wasting a whole lot of time. Personally, while I do plan on watching this again, I probably won't do so very often. My poor heart might not be able to take it.
Fair warning:
- The MDL blurb says that this is "the romance drama of two men and women", but it's really just about two people, a man and a woman currently in a relationship.
- The subs in the version that I watched on YouTube were not entirely accurate all the time. But it's fairly easy to extrapolate given the context of the dialogue.

Fortunately I have Met Such a Dear Friend in this Life
A cup of wine in the spring breezeA night of rain in the martial world, ten years of lamplight
I was drawn by countless short from Xiaohongshu or even Youtube. And now I'm dwelling in this last episode for almost 2 hours. My Jiang Hu My A Yu T,T T,T
Story,
I never found such a clean and engaging story from any mini drama. Many said that the story resembles that one drama from Gong Yu, with red robe and flute, but I'm not watching that drama yet so I don't have any comments.
The story itself is like creepes cake, the more layers it has, the more delicious it is served. And I said what I said, this is the most beautiful story that I watched from many mini dramas before. I don't even know that I will love bromance mini drama as hard as in the common long drama.
Moreover, this type of beautiful-yet-tragic drama was my whole core of living.
I know Chinese bromance especially ancient costume drama is always legendary, but now I'm totally whipped. Director, and all of the production team who took part in this, please take my gratitude and live a happy and healthy life!
Acting,
I know Yan Zi Xian and Min Xing Han before, they played many short dramas and other dramas as their cast as supporting characters. I watched most of their work and I know they will do a great job. But to play bromance together? THIS IS THE PAIR THAT I DIDN'T KNOW I NEEDED!
æäčćïŒæç±äžäœ 仏äșăăă
I fell so deep in love with them T,T what should I do? I feel like watching it one time is not enough.
These two, really can act!
Every single detail of their action was so precise. From the big to the smallest detail, they didn't miss a thing.
Even each character from support, side, or guest do their best to be served. Especially that Little Cutie Pie Rong'Er. Acting director, YOU DID SO WELL!
Songs,
The background soundtrack does justice to every single scene. They are well placed even when the songs are not much. Such a beautiful song for beautiful work!
Rewatch Value and Overall,
Overall, this is the best beautiful-yet-tragic bromance mini drama I've ever watched. I will watch it again in the near future. Now after I write this, I want to dive on the internet to find Yan Zi Xian and Min Xing Han crumbs. I crave for their interaction. I hope they will do second, third, fourth, and more collaborations together in the future!

Schoolby Gang
The show has a nice cinematic feel though there are jarring, though thankfully rare moments where it seems the cinematographer changed when it suddenly has the look of a more typical tv drama camera set up. The scholarship students fight against the systemic corruption and it's great that the smart kids put their intelligence to use and actually gets results, but the pacing of the story drags on for a bit at the beginning, though gets better towards the end. Each episode ranges from 40 to 50 minutes or so long for 16 episodes. It's an interesting twist that the scholarship student used to be a rich girl, though aside from monetary issues for her not being able to study cello anymore, there isn't much that she deals with adjusting even though she was rich just months before. The one year exchange student music program deal is not too bad, at least she would have to deal with one less year of her school debt since it's all expenses paid unlike her actual school. Every scene of the boys that Rose are friends regarding their crush on her and jealousy at each other and her closeness with her long time friend Bom are extremely boring. There are so many and doesn't add anything to the story at all.Rose's objectively attractive, popular athlete, one year older friend Bom who also had a perhaps for a while mutual crush on her is also part of the problem in student leadership but just wants to go along to get along because it doesn't harm him as much being at the top, but Rose changes his mind enough to help them in the end above and beyond expectations, using his access to get video footage of the corruption. Better late than never. Rose becomes aware that all her guy friends are crushing on her, which makes her feel the burden of not wanting to hurt her friend's male egos. It's so annoying when Boo and Surf are jealous, let the girl who works hard to bring seemingly impossible changes to the school spend time with the gorgeous senior before he graduates. Rose tells Surf she likes him, but there's zero chemistry and they have more sibling vibes. She also does stop liking him in that way, which to Surf's credit notices and is the one to bring it up with her. It's refreshing that the show shows that dating in high school doesn't mean the feelings never change.
I love that Lily is actually genuinely a good student and is convinced to do better by the school like Rose. Boo is a huge incel who snuck into her room and fanned the flames that she's the thief who stole the corruption money for her father's surgery. The flames hit him too. He doesn't rat out Teacher Mike knowing that his thief girlfriend who is charge of the school funds stealing the student's parent's government entitlements out of bro code, but doesn't even spare a thought the pressure Rose is under with her dying father needed expensive surgery. Rose's mom still doesn't find it suspicious whenever the principal visits from that corrupt school. It's good that the kids are able to, though just barely, find adults who are able to help, though the kids are the ones who did all of the investigative leg work that's needed. It's nice that Lily's villain seeming head of the PTA dad also has a change of heart like she does and becomes one of the adults instrumental in helping the kids enact their plan. The teachers and staff help once their livelihoods are on the line as well. If this was an American show, Rose would take her aptitude at tackling corruption and apply to be an FBI agent or something, but she's off discovering herself now that she has some money again from her father's life insurance while her friends have a reunion and thinking of her.

For your next detox watch.
I started watching this drama twice. The first time, I was bored and stopped at episode 14. The second time, I binged in record time. This show is an amazing watch after something heavier. Smart leads (1st and 2nd) and great support casting. Episodic in its arcs which kept it moving along nicely. I felt a bit of lag at times, the sound effects sort of grated, and obvious limited budget became a bit tiresome but it all resolved quickly. So glad they chose 32 episodes for this. An awesome watch. Was this review helpful to you?

Boundaries? What a concept!
Iâm currently deep in a step-sibling/adopted-sibling/fake-sibling romance binge, and yes, before anyone gasps, I am perfectly capable of separating fiction from real life. I know this trope is eeky to many, but the psychology of proximity, loyalty, and blurred family dynamics honestly fascinates me. Usually, though, I only âapproveâ of these setups when the relationship leans nurturing or protective. Once the vibe shifts into manipulative territory, Iâm outâunless the show itself acknowledges the danger instead of trying to romanticize it.Enter this drama. Thereâs a tag about manipulation, and letâs be real: there are layers to that word. A little assertiveness? Fine. But Lin Zhou is clearly parked in the toxic lane with no intention of signaling left. And while 99% of sibling-adjacent dramas insist that obsessive, all-consuming âyouâre my whole worldâ love is destiny, this drama actually pushes back. I donât buy that obsessive love is the only route, and shockingly, the narrative agrees with me for once.
Honestly, I wouldâve rated this way lower if the show suddenly did a 180 and tried to redeem the red flag just because heâs the male lead. Thankfully, the story commits to its trajectory. Yun Lu choosing to walk away instead of capitulating to a toxic dynamic? A revolution compared to many female leads who practically gift-wrap themselves for the problematic man.
No, this isnât groundbreaking television; itâs a Chinese vertical drama in 2025, not a thesis on modern relationships. But the simple decision not to reward toxic obsession is enough to give me hope that writers canâand occasionally doâcircumvent the usual mess.

If I wanted lectures, Iâd audit a classânot a drama
Law School was a drama I approached with curiosity, but ultimately it didnât align with my viewing preferences. While I could appreciate its ambition and the way it tackled systemic issues within the justice system, the heavy reliance on legal jargon and courtroom lectures made it feel more like homework than entertainment. The intellectual sparring was sharp, but the pacing leaned too cerebral for my taste, draining rather than fueling my engagement.Dropping it wasnât about dismissing its qualityâitâs clear the drama had merit and resonated with many viewers. For me, though, the balance tipped too far into legalese, leaving little room for the emotional resonance or suspense that I look for in crimeâadjacent titles. I prefer narratives that ground systemic critique in characterâdriven payoff, and Law School felt more like a textbook than a thriller.
In the end, my decision to drop this drama was about protecting bandwidth and staying true to my shelf ethic. Itâs not that the drama wasnât goodâit simply wasnât for me. By recognizing that distinction, I can respect its strengths while keeping my own curation disciplined and aligned with resonance.

Dashing Youth? More like Dodged that disappointment.
Dashing Youth opens like itâs auditioning for a wuxia museumâgorgeous CGI, elegant duels staged like paintings, and enough sweeping landscapes to make tourism boards jealous. But by episode two I was already drowning in the âEight Young Masters of Bei Li,â plus Sikong Changfeng and Dongjun, and waitâI thought Changfeng was the lead? Apparently, this drama collects handsome young swordsmen like PokĂ©mon. Every time a new pretty boy shows up, I have to pause to remember who the last one was. By episode three, I was already feeling character fatigue: too many sects, too many man buns, and at least four of them look like they share the same wig stylist. The irony is that the fight scenes are gorgeous, the CGI stunning, and the cinematography chefâs kiss. On the surface, itâs a feast for the eyes. But spectacle alone doesnât anchor a story. Compared to The Blood of Youth, which kept its emotional core tight around a small group and their bond, Dashing Youth scatters itself across factions before the journey even settles. Instead of intimacy and chemistry, it feels like a parade of entrances demanding their own theme music.
Eventually my patience ran out by the 10% mark, so I peeped reviews just to see if I was being dramaticâand nope. Some of the reviews confirmed my instincts: the spectacle stays high while the plot never tightens, the ensemble remains overwhelming, and apparently the finale ends withâŠthe bad guys winning? Forty episodes of that chaos? No thanks. I curate for resonance and closure, not emotional selfâharm.
So yes, I dropped early â and Iâm relieved that I dodged that disappointment. Iâll give it a respectful nod but this one is definitely better admired from afar than survived up close.

All Action, Nothing Else
Mercy For None started off with a bang - intense action scenes, including killing off who you thought would be the main character in ep 1. However, I soon realized that they seemed to care a lot more about making the fight scenes bloody and violent than they did any character development.Nam Gijun left the bloody gang life 11 years ago and hasn't looked back; however, after hearing of his brother's murder, he's pulled right back in. According to the police report, a simple gang of runaway kids killed his brother, but Gijun knows better than to believe that. It seemed that the two gangs were getting along up until now, but Gijun's return brings back memories of what happened 11 years ago, and it seems another war now appears inevitable.
The fight scenes in this show were honestly great. The effects and fight choreography were so interesting to watch! However, it seems like that's the only thing they cared about. I was super excited to see some growth from Gijun, or at least some more backstory to see how he became such a cold blooded killer. Instead, we just get Gijun killing people again. and again. and again. If you're here for the action scenes, you'll love this; if you're looking for something deeper, this one misses the mark.

Best feel-good drama there is
This is one of those dramas where you press play, sit back and enjoy. Every minute of it.It might feel slow at times, but the scenery, music and acting are so good that you do not want to miss anything. Chemistry between leads is palpable through the screen, and I especially enjoyed the little banters they had and the teasings.
May be an unpopular opinion but I enjoyed this one far more than Hidden love, and would recommend everyone to watch it, even if you are not a fan of C/Kdrama.
The only downside worth mentioning is the FL coming home every day and NOT saying hello to her cat first!

Dropped
Maybe I just wasn't into that mood at the time, but I couldn't bring myself to finish it even with skipping. I thought it was just me but seeing some other reviews I may not be the only one thinking that _something_ was missing. All the actors are good, the intro music is great, the scenery and production is great. But the plot was too complicated for no reason and at one point you start to think there is going to be a lot of loose ends.
Everyone is working against everyone. Rarely you get the satisfaction of a good guy having the upper hand, but that lasts for about 5 minutes before he is crushed back to the ground.
I may give it another try some time, but for now the half I watched is just around 5-6 stars.

Most absurd script I've seen
This is probably the most nonsensical. badly stitched together story I've come across in a big while. I really tried to watch it, but there is only so much absurdity I can endure. Seriously dislikable characters, wooden acting from the ML, a mess of a story that comes across as being made up as the filming went along. Zero stars from me.Was this review helpful to you?

this show is a BANGERRRRRR
an I really needed something like this. I've been watching Mid drama for some weeks wishing to find something good and this show was exactly what I needed.plot: our main protagonist is the adopted daughter of a wealthy family and has always been treated like shit by her family. she endured all the hardships but that's never enough. due to circumstances our girl gets into a case accident and dies....
wishing to get a second chance at life she goes back in time to exactly a year before and swear to get revenge against the ones who made her life miserable..
and then our drama really kicks in.
I'm not lying when I say that every single episode is thrilling and leaves you holding your breath. there are absolutely no filler episodes until the very end which is something not to take for granted.
the main female lead is amazing. a very passionate performance. the other actors were also good. the "evil" sister is so good you want to punch her in the faceđ .
the only criticism I have is that the male lead felt a bit flat. performance wise and even script wise.
the step mother was also cartoonishly evil, over the top but it still works to keep you entertained.
at the end everybody get what they deserve, good or bad.
would I recommend it? a million time yes especially if you, like me, have a very bad luck finding good dramas.

what to hate and like ?
Main role (Kong Ji Hyeok) who shown how a man should act. female main role (Ko Da Rim) hate by most guy who only lie just becausue she lucky to get the love but does she really deserve it? most guyu would like (Yoo Ha Yeong) more straight forward, and lastly (Kim Seon U) isnt a man. if you like someone say it not wait your whole life and straight up mess with the one he love. everything can be solve if one of them just tell the truth, well thats just life nowaday anyway. we all live in lie.Was this review helpful to you?
