overused plot like ? idk to watch or not now ...
Not really, at least for Dramaland. I personally rarely see such a dark drama coming from Korea, with barely any music and no comedic elements.

It is definitely not for everyone though. It's a bit slow placed.

It's been three years! How can they still be doing effects?
On Lies Hidden in My Garden Jun 20, 2023
Just watched the first episode and this series is very good for people who love psychological thrillers.

It has a great dark and cinematic atmosphere, deals with many themes and definitely leaves many questions for the viewer to find out.

Good acting, dark atmosphere with lack of comedic elements.

Pretty interested to see where this will go.

Where I can find this Novel English translation
I think it hasn't been translated in English

* fingers crossed for the same cast as they were perfect. Tan Jian Ci especially...not a fangirl, really...or…
I hope so too! I will hate them if they use different actors for the same characters or completely change the mains and make up some MLs with similar traits.

I love it too! I doubt we will get it soon, but at least we will probably watch it someday and hopefully it will be as good as the first or better!

Does anyone know where you can read/buy the book this is based on in english?? Or has it not been translated in…
According to goodreads, it looks like it hasn't been translated in English.
It looks like it may have been translated in Malay (I think).
It appears if you search it as Lies hidden I'm my backyard. I can't find anything regarding its purchase though.

Title See You in My 19th Life Spoiler
Not really. They probably have like a 8-10 year difference. Young FL (she was 9) met him when he was probably…
They didn't have the same age in her previous life. According to webtoon readers at least they had a 3 year age gap (if I'm not mistaken) with FL being older.

is it me or did the rating dropped down to 8.2. I remembered it was 8.7 yesterday.
It's very early to get a stable rating. In about to weeks we will have something closer to the "final" rating.

Title See You in My 19th Life Spoiler
I don’t like the gaps in their ages, like if she is 24 now so he should be in his 40s , right?
Not really. They probably have like a 8-10 year difference.
Young FL (she was 9) met him when he was probably in high school. If those were korean ages she probably was 8 and male lead 18.

So since she is 24 now he must be around 34.

Title The Match
*Answers two months later*As long as we actually watch it it's fine. It seems like things with YAI are pretty…
I'm not sure, but it doesn't really matter anyways.
We are lucky this is on netflix and we have a chance of watching it. Otherwise, his career is ruined for now at least in Korea. Just the fact that he tested positive is bad enough to ruin his reputation.

I don't know where you heard that exactly, but I don't think it is true. I mean just checking the number of people that are watching the currently airing chinese and korean shows can give you an idea.

Anyways, that aside I personally watch whatever picks my interest. Lately, no series from any of the available reagions on mdl appealed to me. Everything looks mediocre or repetitive.

Nope, that is not exactly true. Koreans make multiple dramas a year in different genres. Chinese too. The thing is that each country has a genre of dramas that they make most. For example China produces many more fantasy/period dramas in a year compared to Korean. Plus there is the whole censorship problem and the number of eps that keeps a lot of people from watching Cdramas.

It also depends on the time of the year and what is popular. Right now Kdramas are more popular. When Till the end of the moon was airing for example it was all over the feeds, so everything depends on many things.

I don't know if things there are different, but when it comes to the international audience it is obvious that they prefer Kdramas (you can check platforms like Netflix to confirm it), not that this means that they are better than other dramas, but they are definitely better in the production aspect, more popular due to the hallyu wave and they actually get promoted comparing to series from other countries. Plus they are easire to find. A few years back it was almost impossible to find some dramas from other countries with decent subs.

Sorry, that was long.

Not really. It probably has something to do with netflix's contracts.
It's available in my region and I am from Greece.

Title Celebrity Spoiler
After Black Knight, Bloodhounds, mediocre, will Celebrity meet expectations. The writer seems doubtful for solid…
To be honest I doubt it. From the trailer it looks a bit ''emotionless'' I'd say.
Even though I haven't watched anything from this writer, I have heard really good things about Haechi and Dong Yi is considered a classic. That's pretty good if you ask me.
I also haven't watched the majority of the actors, but that doesn't really matter. I only know Park Gyu Young. She is pretty good if you ask me, she just choosed bad roles and projects.

I don't see a point to rate something before watching it. You can just not rate it...
I mean it is like writing a review about a movie you haven't watched. If you ask me, giving the first ep a chance is always the best choice.
