In that case our leads will forget each other (just like the writer has forgotten that they're the leads), and the drama will end with a hockey match, graduation ceremony, marriage, abroad trip and piano audition as the hockey couple finally declare themselves as the real leads in true Hitchcockian fashion while the boring uncle claps from the stands. The rest of us - the audience - just stare in the darkness.

The final episode is probably gonna be one big hockey match and our leads will probably get a conclusion in a two minute post credit scene.

You are divorcing it from the context that they are friends, and he has literally handled her drunk twice and taken care of her so there's already an implicit trust. She is a mature independent woman who has never felt threatened by his presence and there's no reason to, either. I guess we just have different perspectives of seeing it.

Idk after high school, rejection of a love confession isn't that serious and by all means never directly implies you never want to see that person again if you're already friends. In my personal life I've been friends with a few men I've rejected, they've been mature enough to keep the friendship and now have their own love lives. She even wanted to text him after that, although she backed out of it. Also not to mention, he found out she got into an accident that was serious enough to be hospitalized. He stood outside her house and hesitated to enter because of the whole thing. It's not like he went there casually frolicking and was constantly bothering her.

And the leader did something for sure, because according to their blame game logic he should have been fired too for approving the entire design and not guiding an inexperienced designer properly.

Song Chen was actually quite unhappy about the whole thing proceeding without investigation. I think Sheng Yang was pretty much scapegoated to quell social media anger from the fans of the idols who were performing.
