Looks like it even have session 2 and 3, coming LOL. Not sure how far they want to drag
Frankly, when it's a good drama, that number of episodes feels insufficient, but sometimes it's like they don't have enough story so they drag it out. I mean, a bit of delayed gratification is good to keep people on the ends of their seats, but when it's 6 hours, then they should sit down and reflect... lol

You know I really liked the first few episodes... I liked the time on the island and the green juice lady and that weird theme park, but then I kept getting the feeling it was about to end, and then realised there were still loads of episodes left. I persevered but then lost my motivation to go on around episode 12. I still haven't been able to finish it. 🤣 They should have finished off Imugi and then introduced a new plot or a new villain or just done less episodes....
I don't find him appealing either.I never thought he would be in an other Xianxia after "the legend of the white…
Why "hawker" centres?
I see what you mean about TLB and I do really like the personal growth of Li Changge. It's a very special aspect of TLB. It was easier to grow their own grasslands? That's hilarious. 🤣 When I get to visit China, I'm definitely going to visit Hengdian Studios.
Btw with Tribes and Empires... I saw you mentioned it earlier. It's a great drama and well worth watching but it has a few flaws and I think it helps to be prepared for them before you start it.
1) It's immensely long, but unfinished. However, it's well worth watching for the stellar acting, cinematography and story. Watch it for the journey, not the destination.
2) It has a million characters, which can make it hard to keep track of everything, but the good side is that you get a feel for the whole fantasy world, not just one part of it.
3) There is a very sexy scene with Zhou Yiwei, unusually racy for a C drama....😆😝
Xu Fengnian is the most interesting main character I've seen in a long time. He tries to embrace both the meticulous…
For sure, XFN is a great character. I dunno, Xu Xiao is pretty disconcerting too because he schemes against his own family members. I mean, he's pretty much sacrificed his eldest daughter to a miserable life and she will die of ill health far away from home most likely... XFN is much more forthcoming with his loved ones than Xu Xiao.

Based on their comment here and elsewhere (I had a look), their comments, although critical of Ren aren't rude to any other commenter (although I've only seen a few) or unjustified, they give several examples to back up their opinion. Seems fair to me. 🙂
Providing everyone is courteous to one another and gives a reasonable explanation of their opinion, I don't see an issue. I think there is a danger however, of singling someone out and not giving them the space to air their views, whatever they may be... I've been hounded in the past and ganged up on for expressing an unpopular view (that I made courteously) and even called names! I've heard from several other members that they're afraid of expressing their views because the loyal fans can get nasty and will even stalk them through the comment section... Some have even called me brave for being honest... This space shouldn't become toxic like that, where only one set of opinions are allowed and safe to express...
Question: when will XFN learn some martial skills?
I would have liked to see a bit more of that in the final. His 2nd sister even said, Practice your swordmanship! Lol I'm like, I'm with you on that ErJie!

Maybe a big fan of mermaid myths or the genre! Not everyone watches dramas because of being a fan of someone in the cast! 😄
I haven't enjoyed Ren Jia Lun's performances in his dramas I've seen so far, but I will still watch this drama. I usually like Dilraba's performance and I love historical fantasy!

4) The soundtrack is very unique...
