That was brave of you to criticise Dilraba. She has very loyal fans. I am also a big fan, but I strongly dislike this kind of behaviour demonstrated below calling you a hater, dampening the mood and other rude, childish comments.

Not remotely. I am entitled to my view on someone's professional ability. It is rude however to think you're entitled to censor someone for expressing their opinion, especially as respectfully as I did.

Her beautiful voice is one of my favourite things about her. Hope they don't cover it up with someone else's voice.

There's also Gulinazha who's been in a few dramas recently but imo she's not in the same league of acting talent.

This is the drama to watch! Hooked me within 5 minutes, always a good sign.

Yes, she does but it's because she is poisoned and hallucinating.

The Queen Mother doesn't have any scenes with the FL and only features in short scenes with Rong Qi during most of the drama.

This drama has a lot of twists and turns, which is what makes it so good. So, I don't recommend spoilers.

I avoided this drama because I thought it wouldn't be worth my time but I was recommended it so decided to give it a go. I admit starting it with very low expectations. The first few episodes were underwhelming but as I got into it, I discovered the story is really good, it's fast paced with regular plot twists and developments. The acting is so-so, but imo, the story makes up for that. Angelababy's acting is very inconsistent. Her whiny spoiled brat act was very cringe but she had her moments when she showed more emotion and maturity where she was suddenly far more convincing. Fortunately, her character doesn't dominate screentime. Ma Tianyu was also a bit cringe in the beginning playing a childish character, but unlike his FL, his character actually matures into a more interesting character...

Overall, I can really recommend this drama for anyone going through drama drought. Just start it with low expectations and stick with it through the first arc and you will be pleasantly surprised by how the story progresses.

I totally agree, but bear in mind that most C dramas use voice actors who dub famous faces. It's bizarre. The voice and the face should match. It's only very recently that some dramas have made a big show of the fact that actors are using their original voices.

Sure, but it was just one example. So little actually happens in the space of an hour's episode. Personally, I'm losing interest.

I agree. As a seasoned K drama viewer, for me personally 8-8.2 would be a more appropriate rating. There haven't been that many romcoms recently. I think it may be a combination of drama drought plus the appeal of the cast.

What a snoozefest this drama has turned into. I'm about out of patience. Loads of screentime devoted to meaningless subplots like the FL buying bread.
