Another recent Kdrama promoting Polyamorous relationships. This is not even the norm in western societies. Not…
Oh come on... Just because something is shown on a drama doesn't mean it's being "promoted". If a character is murdered or graped, are they promoting that too? Of course not. If you don't want to be polyamorous, no one is forcing you.
Decided to finally watch this and woah, it's so rushed if I didn't already know the story, I would be completely lost... There's absolutely no flow from one random scene to the next. I really like Liu Yifei as Bai Qian though... I hope she does a xianxia drama one day because she looks fabulous in costumes.

Yeah, the kisses were a bit lame especially since we all know Zhang Linghe can kiss lol. It's a typical case of editing massacre. If there weren't these stupid episode caps, this wouldn't have happened. So many dramas have been sacrificed to these stupid rules. I would much rather watch an excellent drama of 50 episodes than a drama that could have been great but was cut to pieces...
And they ALWAYS cut the last episodes, not the earlier ones with meaningless subplots.

IKR? It jumps from the wedding bed to some random fight to the death and a few seconds later, it's several years later. My head was like wait what just happened???
Another good drama ruined by cuts, and of course, they keep the meaningless scenes earlier on and cut the dramatic ending scenes... It's been a while since I saw an ending that was massacred quite that badly by cuts... O.O It was impossible to follow at the end because the story didn't flow...
most of the people's reason is the screentime, he has a lot of screentime with repetitive scenes. he is just an…
I agree, he's not an interesting or convincing villain... He is not well written as a character, it's a shame. I skip his solo scenes now because they're so repetitive.
In Snowfall there is 17 years difference between the leads, with the male being the oldest. There are few comments…
Not all women! I'm all for this match. They are both over 30, what's the big deal? *facepalm* I'm really excited to see Liu Xueyi with a more mature, seasoned actress! I just hope Tang Yan is ready to bring her A game and really give Liu Xueyi a role to show off!
From what I know in Asia, there is a whole thing about age gaps in relationships that they shouldn't be more than 7 years or something, but I've seen that same view expressed on so many dramas regardless of whether the older lead is male or female. Some people even refuse to watch it if there is an age gap. Crazy in my opinion. It's a drama.
Xiangliu goes out of his way to push Xiaoyao towards Tushan Jing because he knows he is unable to commit to her…
Everyone is carrying their trauma. You would better understand Xiangliu if you gave him a chance and watched his scenes. Skipping in this drama will make you miss vital details, which will take away from the richness of the story. Xiangliu and Xiaoyao have a lot of shared experiences. He was abandoned by his family, he was captured and kept in a cage and brutally tortured like Xiaoyao.
If Xiangliu chose to abandon Chenrong, he could be a great partner for Xiaoyao, but he won't because he's extremely loyal to his adopted father who saved him from the slave pit.
As for Tushan Jing, he has a lot of positive qualities like his kindness, gentleness, devotion... but... he has hurt Xiaoyao far more than Xiangliu ever has. He also has negative qualities like being spineless in the face of obstacles, and has failed to protect Xiaoyao several times at which point Xiangliu has had to swoop in to save the day. He is too passive. Also, TSJ can be manipulative. Fortunately he did apologise for trapping XY with that 15 year promise because of his fear of her falling for XL. As for the harm inflicted by XL at the wedding, that was organised by Tushan Jing and they spoke up at the same time at the wedding, so really Xiangliu and Tushan Jing are equally guilty there.
I don't think Xiaoyao would have chosen Tushan Jing if Xiangliu had devoted himself to her, confessed and loved her as openly as Tushan Jing. Their bond is very deep. There is a reason why they are the ones with the love bugs. However, that relationship won't progress because Xiangliu won't let it happen because he knows he will die with the Chenrong remnants, and he doesn't want to abandon Xiaoyao.
