Me too! It's very realistic. I would say for best friends to become lovers, there are two logical paths either they get drunk and end up in bed together or this kind of slow burn gradual changes.

Seems to me like the people who loved Queen of Tears aren't fond of this drama, and those who didn't like QOT prefer this one!

I actually far prefer Love Next Door! I think it's fantastic. The leads have great chemistry, there is a good mix of comedy and melodrama, and I like how they are exploring this whole best friends to lovers topic, very realistic.

Why does he not do any historical dramas?

Chinese beauty standards have become so extreme it's only achievable through anorexia and cosmetic surgery. Even 8 years ago, they were more realistic, now they want them to all look the same like dolls or anime characters.

I think the best acting from him was his role in Legend of Dugu. He aced that role, most interesting of all the characters and he wasn't even the ML.

Some good K dramas ongoing atm, Love Next Door on Netflix and No Gain No Love on Prime.

I like having my soul destroyed now and then. 🤣

Some people only want to watch characters who perfect in all ways and never do anything wrong (boring and unrealistic). I like well rounded characters with flaws and growth arcs.

There is still nowhere to watch this in my region! I can't even buy it.
